Chapter 1091
Irene shouted, โYou actually brought her to a hotel room? Ugh, have you no shame?โ
Andrew replied coolly, โItโs none of your damn business.โ
Then, he casually walked over to the front desk and booked a deluxe suite.
Leroy called out, โHold up, Andrew!โ
Andrew stopped and turned, shooting him a glance.
Leroy looked at the unconscious Aspen and asked, โSo, are you two officially sleeping together now?โ
Andrew snapped impatiently, โIf youโve got something to say, say it. If not, get lost.โ
Leroy snorted. โRelax, man. Iโm just saying that youโre impressive. Youโre actually sleeping with Aspen? Honestly, if it werenโt for us being related, Iโd be tempted too. Sheโs seriously top-tierโany man would want a shot.โ
Andrew sneered. โIs that so? Well, youโre even more of a shameless animal than I thought.โ
Leroyโs temper flared. โAnd who are you to insult me, Andrew? Donโt forget, the woman youโre sleeping with is still a Stevens. Sheโs still one of ours. So, you better be ready to pay the price for that. That G-Wagon of yoursโstill driving it? If not, hand it over. Consider it payment for sleeping with Aspen.โ
Andrew was honestly impressed. Leroy had been eyeing his ride since their time back in Jayrodale. That idiot had the thickest skin he had ever seenโpersistent to a ridiculous degree.
Just then, Christina spoke coldly. โAndrew, I never thought youโd end up accepting a woman you once hated, someone who hurt you. Shows what kind of man you really areโyouโd throw away your principles just to get laid.โ
Andrew said with complete indifference, โYou can say and think whatever you want. Thatโs your business. But yes, youโre right. Iโve accepted Aspen because sheโs miles better than you in every way.โ
Christinaโs frosty expression darkened. โDo you really think Aspen is better than me? Andrew, you think Iโd believe youโre not just saying that to piss me off? Tell meโwhat exactly makes Aspen better than me?โ
They were both from the Stevens family, but now Aspen had clearly grown close to Andrew. By the looks of it, Aspen was already one of Andrewโs women, and that stung Christina with jealousy and rage.
After all, she had once begged, groveled, and still failed to win Andrew back. Yet, Aspen was the one lying in his arms.
Andrew said calmly, โAspenโs better than you in every single way. So Christina, do me a favor and stay far away from me. This little obsession you have is pathetic. Youโre just making yourself look worse.โ
Christina let out a bitter laugh, her voice tinged with fury. โAndrew, Aspenโs badly hurt, isnโt she? Most likely because of you, right? From the looks of it, youโre surrounded by enemies in this city. Youโre barely holding on.โ
Andrew repeated coldly, โStill none of your damn business. In fact, itโs none of your whole familyโs damn business.โ
Then, he carried Aspen into the elevator, heading straight for their room.
Down in the lobby, Christinaโs whole family stood there fuming.
Irene snapped, โChristie, thank God you didnโt get back together with that little bastard. Look at himโheโs even sleeping with Aspen. Iโm so furious I could scream!โ
Leroy rolled his eyes. โMom, why are you even mad? Youโre just pissed that Andrew chose Aspen instead of Christie, right? Admit itโyouโre jealous and bitter!โ
Ireneโs face flushed with embarrassment. โShut your mouth! Grown-ups are talkingโwho asked you to chime in?โ
Leroy was about to fire back when he noticed how strange Christina looked and asked, โChristie, what are you thinking right now? Youโve got that lookโฆ like some villainess from a movie.โ
Christina answered calmly, โRight now, Iโm relying on Quinton, and Andrew is basically his sworn enemy. So if I tell him where Andrew and Aspen are stayingโฆ donโt you think thatโs the right thing to do?โ
Irene jumped in without hesitation. โOf course it is. Thatโs exactly what you should do. Quinton has done so much for our family. He sends me gift cards for spa days, bracelets, and gold ringsโheโs always thinking of us! Naturally, we should return the favor and help him out."
Leroy added viciously, โExactly. Andrew and Aspen are clearly on the run. If we tell Quinton, heโll make sure the Goldings get word. Those two lovebirds wonโt know what hit them.โ
