Chapter 1313

Only one day remained until the Grand Medical Summit began. Andrew had nothing left to do but wait calmly for the conference to arrive.

โ€œDarling, weโ€™ll all be there to cheer you on!โ€ Natasha said cheerfully in the living room of Serenity Villa.

Dylan remarked, โ€œIโ€™ve heard that everyone attending this Grand Medical Summit is quite extraordinary. Even top-tier organizations like the Advanced Medical Institute, which usually stays above worldly affairs, are sending representatives.โ€

Andrew appeared unfazed and simply asked, โ€œWhereโ€™s Aspen?โ€

Natasha nodded toward the second floor. โ€œSheโ€™s hiding in her room and hasnโ€™t come out at all.โ€

Andrew frowned. โ€œShe hasnโ€™t come out since yesterday?โ€

Natasha confirmed, โ€œThatโ€™s right, not since yesterday. But donโ€™t worry, sheโ€™s fine. Iโ€™ve been keeping an eye on her.โ€

Andrew stood up and headed upstairs. โ€œIโ€™ll go check on her!โ€

Natasha pouted. โ€œSuch a princess!โ€

Dylan laughed. โ€œYou canโ€™t really say that. Aspen comes from an elite family, after all. Sheโ€™s definitely different from rough folks like us!โ€

Natasha scoffed. โ€œI donโ€™t see any difference. With darling, we all eat well! Sheโ€™s just being dramatic, threatening to leave, still acting like a pampered little socialite. Darling has already been good enough to her!โ€

Dylan chuckled. โ€œGood enough indeed. I heard he even gave her Serenity Villa! But women are mysterious. Obviously, what Aspen wants now isnโ€™t wealth or luxury. She wants Mr. Lloydโ€™s affection, preferably with some intense action, if you know what I mean.โ€

Natasha nodded. โ€œYouโ€™re absolutely right. I believe Aspen has some masochistic tendencies. Itโ€™s like sheโ€™s practically begging for Darling to mistreat her.โ€

Upstairs, Andrew knocked on Aspenโ€™s door.

โ€œGo away!โ€ a cold voice called from inside, clearly keeping people at a distance.

โ€œItโ€™s me. Open the door!โ€ Andrew said firmly.

After a brief silence, the voice remained cold. โ€œIโ€™m not opening it. I donโ€™t want to see you!โ€

Andrew laughed in disbelief. โ€œAspen, get your position straight. Iโ€™m your master, and when I tell you to open up, youโ€™d better do it!โ€

Some angry cursing came from inside, followed by the door swinging open. Aspen stood in the doorway wearing light sleepwear, her face pale and deliberately distant.

โ€œWhat do you want? If itโ€™s nothing important, please donโ€™t disturb my rest,โ€ she said coldly.

Andrew smiled. โ€œI do have something, but let me come in first before we talk.โ€

Aspen gritted her teeth. โ€œDonโ€™t you know that you canโ€™t just barge into a girlโ€™s room whenever youโ€”โ€

Andrewโ€™s smile didnโ€™t waver. โ€œIโ€™m not entering a girlโ€™s roomโ€“Iโ€™m entering my servantโ€™s room!โ€

Aspen was furious but obediently stepped aside anyway.

Andrew walked around the room and was surprised to see several packed suitcases in the center. โ€œYouโ€™ve packed everything up. Are you planning to leave?โ€

Aspen crossed her arms and gave a curt nod, maintaining her coldness.

Andrew was silent for a moment, looking at her. โ€œAre you sure about this?โ€

Aspen turned her head away, avoiding eye contact with Andrew. โ€œYes, Iโ€™m sure. The Grand Medical Summit has the attention of the entire Gabo Creek province. My father and the rest of my family have come to Blumedale to watch it. When they return to Bridgefields, Iโ€™ll go with them.โ€

Andrew nodded. โ€œIf you want to leave, thatโ€™s fine. Letโ€™s go out then. Iโ€™ll go meet your family with you. Itโ€™s a good opportunity to talk to them as well!โ€

Aspen frowned. โ€œTalk about what? You donโ€™t need to explain anything!โ€

Andrew laughed at her defensive posture. โ€œDonโ€™t worry, Iโ€™m not some evil tyrant who bullies people at every turn. Youโ€™ve helped me quite a bit, after all. When I meet your family, Iโ€™ll treat them to a meal, get to know them, and express my gratitude!โ€
