Chapter 146
Andrew was at Jayrodale General Hospital when Dylan's urgent call arrived. "Mr. Lloyd, I need to report something immediately."
"What is it, Dylan?" Andrew asked.
"My men saw Tony's people abduct Christina, the CEO of Stevens Corporation, from the South City project," Dylan reported gravely.
"When did this happen?" Andrew's voice turned glacial.
"Just now. She's likely already on the East Side. I suspect Tony plans to use her against you, Mr. Lloyd."
"He will pay with his life for this!" Andrew growled.
A chill ran down Dylan's spine. "Mr. Lloyd, will you intervene? I'll gather our men to storm the East Side with you."
"No need. I'll go alone. I want to see what Tony's up to," Andrew replied calmly.
"But Mr. Lloyd, Tony is dangerous! Going alone is—"
Before Dylan could finish, Andrew interrupted, "Don't worry. Once I'm there, regardless of how many men or skilled fighters protect him on the East Side, Tony will be the only one dying."
He hung up.
Francesca, standing beside him, paled. "What happened? Why are you so angry?"
Andrew donned his jacket, his expression unchanged. "Tony took Christina because of me, and I must deal with this."
"How can you storm the East Side alone? That's Tony's territory!" Francesca exclaimed. "Let me contact Lauren and my grandfather for help."
Andrew shook his head. "There's no time. Christina is already there. I must go now before something happens to her."
Moments later, a black Porsche Panamera sped toward the East Side.
At the East Side hideout, Tony sat confidently at the head of the room, in a chair replacing the one Andrew had destroyed during their last encounter.
"Today is Andrew's death day!" Tony laughed heartily, surveying his assembled forces. Hundreds of his men stood ready, augmented by three elite enforcers—martial arts experts hired from underground gangs at considerable expense. Only the pressure Andrew exerted had compelled Tony to employ them.
"Mr. Madden Senior, why did you summon all three of us for some punk who knows a bit of ancient medicine and martial arts?" Herman Blackwood, an elderly man, complained.
"Mr. Blackwood, this man took out Rocco, even with a gun. We can't be too cautious," Tony replied seriously.
Herman scoffed. "Rocco? Even with a machine gun, I could eliminate him in an instant!"
Tony smiled. "Your skills far surpass Rocco's, Mr. Blackwood. But I summoned all three masters not just for Andrew. We must also be prepared for the Rhodes family and Cedric Aicker."
Herman grunted. "My time is valuable, and I won't waste it on small fry. I'll only intervene if the Rhodes family's experts or Cedric appears. Anything less, and I won't lift a finger, but you'll still pay my full fee."
