Listen to this chapter:

โ€œAndy, what the hell are you doing?โ€ Ronaldโ€™s voice cracked with fury as he felt the cold, hard muzzle of the gun press against his forehead.

Andrew smiled like it was no big deal. โ€œWhat am I doing? Are your eyes failing you? Iโ€™m about to find out exactly who made the move.โ€

Ronald roared, completely losing it. โ€œAndrew, youโ€™re really pulling this stunt? What if I just donโ€™t tell you? You seriously think youโ€™ll pull the damn trigger?โ€

Andrew calmly released the safety. โ€œYou can test me if you want.โ€

Beads of cold sweat rolled down Ronaldโ€™s forehead. He could not tell from Andrewโ€™s gaze whether the man would actually shoot. Nonetheless, even with his formidable strength, his brains would still be blown out.

โ€œFine! Iโ€™ll talk! Damn it, Iโ€™ll talk! But Andrew, I wonโ€™t ever forget this humiliation!โ€

Andrew simply smiled, holding the gun tightly.

Ronald spat, โ€œThe one who planted the explosives is hiding in Gutterโ€™s Maw right now. You donโ€™t need me to spell out the exact spot because your people will find it fast enough. As for the mastermindโ€ฆ I canโ€™t say. But knowing you, youโ€™ll find a way to make them talk.โ€

He finished in one breath. Then, he let out a cold snort and stormed off.

Andrew placed the gun back on the table and said flatly, โ€œMeetingโ€™s over. The rest of this doesnโ€™t concern any of you.โ€

Aaron smirked. โ€œGutterโ€™s Maw ainโ€™t exactly the easiest place to catch someone. Mr. Lloyd, how about I handle it for youโ€ฆ Say, for 100 million?โ€

Andrew pointed at the door. โ€œHave a nice day.โ€

Aaronโ€™s smile twitched, and he slinked off in defeat. He had hoped to make a huge profit out of this, but who would have thought that Andrew was such a damn tightwad who would not part with a penny?

Duncan said, โ€œMr. Lloyd, Iโ€™ll take my men to Gutterโ€™s Maw and handle the arrest!โ€

Andrewโ€™s expression was cold. โ€œIโ€™m coming with you.โ€

He went upstairs to check in with Lauren and the others to give them a quick update. After that, he brought Dylan and Natasha along, and he joined Duncanโ€™s team heading toward Gutterโ€™s Maw.

Blumedaleโ€™s Gutterโ€™s Maw was notorious for being dirty, chaotic, and dangerous. Law enforcement officers were in and out all the time, dealing with every kind of crime you could think of.

Suddenly, a wooden shack by a reeking drainage canal was kicked open. However, the moment they stepped in, they were knocked out and sent flying back out through the doorway.

At the back of the shack, a dark figure smashed through the wall and bolted. Within seconds, he vanished beneath the dim glow of the streetlights.

Duncan lost it. โ€œUseless morons! Get after him now! If you donโ€™t catch him, you can all drop dead for all I care!โ€

He turned to Andrew, looking embarrassed. โ€œMr. Lloyd, Iโ€™m sorry about that. But donโ€™t worry, Iโ€™ll get that bastard.โ€

Andrew waved a hand. โ€œCall them off. Natasha, Dylanโ€“go.โ€

The two of them were already on the move, vanishing down the narrow alley in pursuit.

Andrew did not say a word as he turned down another alley, picking up speed with every step.

Duncan and the others following behind him were completely puzzled.

โ€œMr. Lloyd, what are you doing?โ€ Rachel jogged along, looking confused.

Andrew said calmly, โ€œThat guyโ€™s pretty skilled, and the terrain here is very complex. If we just chase him straight-on, we might never catch up.โ€
