Chapter 266
Harvey smirked playfully. "It's a rare sight, the Ice Queen of Stevens Corporation so enraged. Want me to leave? Simple—transfer 150 million dollars from Stevens Corporation to the Weller family."
Christina immediately refused. "150 million? That's outrageous! We don't have that kind of money!" Such a sum would cripple Stevens Corporation—the Wellers were ruthless indeed.
Harvey scoffed. "Don't be so quick. I'm not done. Not only must Stevens Corporation transfer the 150 million, but you must also marry into the Weller family and become my woman."
"Harvey, you're delusional!" Christina shouted, burning with anger and humiliation.
"That's right, keep dreaming!" Irene chimed in. "Christie is innocent and beautiful. Have you looked in a mirror? You're not worthy of her!"
Harvey slapped Irene, sending her sprawling. She sobbed, glaring at him with bloodshot eyes, too terrified to speak.
"Mom!" Christina cried, tears finally falling.
"Christie, we'd rather die than let this monster win!" Irene hissed.
His authority challenged, Harvey roared. "Christina, refuse, and I'll kill Leroy. Then, I'll throw your mother onto the streets!" He added, "And you can't escape me. Today, I take what I want, and not even God can stop me!"
Despair washed over Christina. She'd hoped for help from the Bridgefields, but they hadn't arrived. Harvey's savagery revealed a hopeless situation.
"One minute," Harvey said coldly. "Agree, or I kill Leroy."
Clutching his stomach, Leroy gritted out, "Christie, don't worry. Let him kill me, if he dares. Otherwise, I'll fight him!"
Harvey's eyes flashed, and he ordered, "Someone cut out his tongue first." Two enforcers moved forward, grinning evilly, seizing Leroy.
Christina's forehead beaded with sweat. "Wait!"
Chapter 206
"What is it, Christie? Decided? Good—yes or no?" Harvey grinned.
Christina looked at her suffering family and slowly closed her eyes. Tears streamed down her cheeks as her lips trembled. She had no choice. "Alright, I agr—"
Two loud thuds echoed from outside. Before Harvey's bodyguards reacted, they were thrown into the room.
Harvey's eyes turned cold. "Who dares interrupt me?!"
Christina's family rejoiced. "The Bridgefields' aides! We're saved, Christie!" Irene exclaimed.
But it wasn't the Bridgefields. Andrew walked in calmly.
"Andrew! Again!" Harvey snarled, hatred blazing.
"Andrew, what are you doing here?" Christina asked, shocked.
Andrew glanced at her, then stepped aside.
