Chapter 375

Andrewโ€™s voice turned cold as he said, โ€œYou old pervert, you donโ€™t even realize youโ€™re terminally ill. If you donโ€™t get the right treatment within three days, youโ€™d better start picking out your coffin.โ€

Ernest scoffed. โ€œAre you trying to intimidate me? You probably donโ€™t know that Iโ€™ve trained in martial arts since childhood โ€“ my muscles are harder than steel. Terminally ill? You must be out of your mind.โ€

Andrew replied calmly, โ€œBelieve it or not, in three days, youโ€™ll be suffering horrible pain, wishing you were actually dead.โ€

Natasha caught on quickly and chimed in, โ€œErnest, you might not know this, but Mr. Lloyd is a doctor. If he says somethingโ€™s wrong with your health, there must be a serious issue. You should probably hear him out โ€“ whatโ€™s the harm in that?โ€

Ernest seemed to have wavered. He had initially dismissed Andrewโ€™s words as nonsense, but besides his greed, womanizing, and vanity, Ernest had one other defining trait โ€“ he was terrified of death.

At the slightest health concern, he would spare no expense on treatment, believing that as long as he stayed healthy, he could continue living his luxurious lifestyle.

Ernest reluctantly conceded, โ€œHmph, although I still donโ€™t buy what youโ€™re saying, kid, Iโ€™ll give you one chance. Tell me whatโ€™s wrong with my health.โ€

Andrew explained, โ€œFrom my initial observation, your complexion shows signs of impending disaster. As for the specific illness, Iโ€™ll need to examine you to be certain.โ€

Ernest frowned, growing more concerned. He grumbled, โ€œFine, examine me then. But donโ€™t think Iโ€™ll believe your nonsense without proof.โ€

Andrew responded calmly, โ€œErnest, Iโ€™m offering to examine you for free. What do you have to lose?โ€

Ernest grunted and gestured for Andrew to proceed.

Andrew stepped forward, checked his pulse, and shook his head gravely. โ€œThis is bad. You have a severe illness. You donโ€™t have much time left.โ€

Ernestโ€™s forehead twitched, but he remained silent as cold fear crept into his heart.

Andrew continued, โ€œIโ€™m going to check a few vital points on your body using therapeutic massage. Bear with me.โ€

Without waiting for a response, he quickly pressed several points on Ernestโ€™s body.

Natasha played along, her eyes twinkling with amusement. โ€œMr. Lloyd, is Ernestโ€™s condition really as serious as you say?โ€

Andrew replied solemnly, โ€œItโ€™s worse than I thought. Ernestโ€™s conditionโ€ฆโ€

Seeing Andrewโ€™s hesitation and apparent concern, Ernest could not help but burst out, โ€œKid, why are you sighing? Just tell me straight whatโ€™s wrong!โ€

Andrew looked at him intently and said, โ€œErnest, my initial observation showed you were dying, but after this examination, Iโ€™m certain you donโ€™t have much time left. You should return to Blumedale and notify your family.โ€

Cold sweat broke out on Ernestโ€™s face as his thick lips trembled. โ€œNotify them about what? Just spit it out!!โ€

Andrew sighed again and said, โ€œTo prepare for your funeral arrangements, of course.โ€
