Chapter 494

Unable to take it anymore, Andrew tapped Hughโ€™s shoulder and said politely, โ€œHey man, could you move your chair a bit? Itโ€™s really tight back here.โ€

Hugh turned around and snapped, โ€œMove your own damn self if youโ€™re uncomfortable, you idiot!โ€

As he cursed, he deliberately showed off the tiger tattoo on his chest. This trick usually let him swagger around Jayrodale unchallenged, since most people were easily intimidated by such displays.

Fiona Smith leaned forward aggressively and asked, โ€œHugh, whatโ€™s wrong? Is this loser bothering you?โ€

Hugh sneered. โ€œJust eat your food, heโ€™s nobody. This moron actually asked me to move my chair. Who does he think he is, the king of Jayrodaleโ€™s underground? Heโ€™s got a death wish!โ€

Andrew frowned and replied, โ€œWatch your mouth. If you keep spewing trash, I might just help you find out what it actually tastes like.โ€

Hugh rolled up his sleeves and pointed at Andrewโ€™s face, bellowing, โ€œDo you have any idea who I am? Listen here, you piece of crap. If you talk to me like that again, Iโ€™ll make sure you and your family are gone overnight!โ€

His threatening appearance and loud voice immediately drew the attention of everyone in the restaurant.

The owner noticed the commotion and came over with an appeasing smile, โ€œGentlemen, please calm down. How about a cigarette? Take a breather for my sakeโ€“everyoneโ€™s just here to eat.โ€

Hugh sneered, slapping the offered cigarette out of the ownerโ€™s hand. Then, he spat directly at the manโ€™s face, his expression cold.

โ€œGet out of here, you pathetic excuse for a man. Do you think someone like you deserves my respect? And you call this garbage a cigarette? What is it, a few bucks a pack? Trash like that might suit you, but itโ€™s beneath me.โ€

The owner, humiliated and wiping his face, sat on the floor in defeat. He muttered, โ€œWhat the hell? Youโ€™re already being a bullyโ€“do you have to take it this far?โ€

The owner had seen everything clearly. Hugh had intentionally pushed the person seated behind him, causing the issue.

Hugh smirked. โ€œSo what if I shoved someone? Who told you to stick your nose where it doesnโ€™t belong?โ€

He leaned closer, his voice dripping with mockery. โ€œOh, and since youโ€™re the owner of this place, let me make something clear: my girl and I arenโ€™t paying for a damn thing.โ€

Fiona chimed in with a smug smile. โ€œThatโ€™s right. I come here all the time for the spiced bisque, but this man here? Heโ€™s my boyfriend, Hugh Williamson. Ever heard of the Madblade Martial Academy? Hughโ€™s cousin, Rodney Sanford, runs the placeโ€“heโ€™s the heir, you know.โ€

She let the name hang in the air, as if daring the owner to challenge her. The owner froze at the mention of Madblade Martial Academy. If Hugh was related to Rodney, then provoking him could mean trouble.

The man quickly nodded, trembling. โ€œI understand. From now on, anytime you come here, itโ€™s on the house. You wonโ€™t have to pay a dime.โ€

Hugh nodded in satisfaction, shooing the owner away. โ€œNow get lost. Iโ€™ve got other business to take care of. After Iโ€™m done with you, Iโ€™ll deal with this idiot over here.โ€

He turned back to Andrew, his face dark with hostility, ready to escalate the confrontation.
