Irene, believing Cedric possessed insight, eagerly asked, "Dr. Aicker, you can confirm the pill Dad took was a genuine medicinal pill, right?"

She continued, "I knew it couldn't be fake; Harvey obtained it directly from Mistvell Peak. His fainting is perfectly normal; his body was simply too weak for such powerful medicine!" Cedric responded with a cold laugh. "Foolish woman," he mocked, "your ignorance is boundless. That was a common supplement, not a medicinal pill! I won't waste my energy explaining!"

Irene trembled with humiliation. She wished the earth would swallow her whole.

Leroy stammered, "H-Harvey, it seems you were scammed. Even Dr. Aicker says the pill was fake!"

Harvey silently cursed Irene, yet maintained composure. "Leroy's right," he said. "Someone foolishly scammed me. Mr. Stevens Senior will receive justice." He deflected blame onto the pill's supplier.

Cedric abruptly changed the subject. "Who stabilized Mr. Stevens Senior so quickly? They possess impressive medical knowledge."

Christina pointed at Andrew. "Dr. Aicker, Andrew saved Grandpa." She frantically urged Andrew to greet Cedric.

Andrew remained motionless, frustrating Christina. She couldn't believe his social ineptitude.

Cedric studied Andrew intently. "Young man," he stated, "your medical skills at such a young age impress me. I recognize talent, and you show promise. Become my apprentice; I'll ensure you become a renowned physician."

The Stevens family was stunned. Becoming Cedric's apprentice was akin to winning the lottery. The Aicker family of Jayrodale were renowned for their medical heritage, and Cedric's tutelage guaranteed a bright future.

Leroy, consumed by envy, stepped forward. "Dr. Aicker, consider me as well! I'm exceptionally talented!"

Irene shamelessly interjected, "Dr. Aicker, this is my son. His sister is the esteemed CEO of Stevens Corporation; he must be equally capable. Please accept him too!"

Cedric pointed to his nose incredulously. "Do I look like a recycling center for rejects?" Irene and Leroy retreated in shame, feeling deeply humiliated.

Ignoring them, Cedric turned to Andrew. "Young man, few catch my eye as potential apprentices. This opportunity is yours to seize."

Christina urged, "Andrew, thank Dr. Aicker!"

Harvey smirked. "Yes, Andrew. You're a small-time doctor lacking status and wealth. Dr. Aicker's tutelage, even a small amount of his knowledge, would set you up for life!"

The others watched jealously, resentful that Andrew had captured Cedric's attention.

Andrew spoke calmly, "I'm sorry, but you're not qualified to be my teacher."
