Meanwhile, Andrew didn't waste time on the South City Orphanage project. He left immediately with Mark's driver, heading toward the Thatcher residence.

"I can't believe it," Irene muttered jealously. "This loser suddenly has people picking him up?"

"That was Mr. Thatcher's driver," Leroy observed. "And that license plate… I wonder why they'd pick up someone like him."

Irene scoffed. "Nonsense! Mr. Thatcher's driver wouldn't come for him. He's a nobody! And your eyesight's worse than mine, for someone so young!"

Christina, however, was genuinely stunned. She was certain the driver was Mark's, and that car was his private vehicle. She wondered if Andrew had become Mark's guest, but quickly dismissed the idea as impossible. Such treatment was usually reserved for elite young talents like Harvey.

Andrew soon arrived at the Thatcher residence, where Lauren greeted him with a radiant smile. She had correctly guessed that the miracle doctor Cedric had summoned was her boyfriend.

"Andrew, this is the mayor's mansion," Harvey growled. "What are you doing here? Leave immediately."

The others anxiously asked Cedric, "Dr. Aicker, where's the miracle doctor you promised?"

Cedric snorted, then approached Andrew with a warm smile. "He's right in front of you. Dr. Lloyd, we've been expecting you."

Andrew nodded. "Let's not waste time. Take me to Mr. Thatcher."

"Of course, right this way!" Cedric replied enthusiastically.

The others stood dumbfounded.

"Dr. Aicker, is the mentor you mentioned really Andrew?" Harvey asked incredulously.

"Who is this guy?" the others chimed in, eyeing Andrew with suspicion. "We've never heard of him. Are you sure there's no mistake?"

Cedric replied proudly, "Indeed, this is the miracle doctor I invited. Everyone, be quiet and don't disturb my mentor."

The crowd gasped. They had to believe Cedric, though some suspected a scam.

Harvey scoffed. "Dr. Aicker, you must be mistaken. This guy is a junior doctor at Jayrodale General, a worthless freeloader. Having him treat Mr. Thatcher is a joke."

Another person stepped forward. "Dr. Aicker, reconsider. Even with some skill, his inexperience makes him unqualified."

"Silence!" Cedric thundered. "You're useless whiners!" He had witnessed Andrew's expertise and considered him a master.

Lauren interjected firmly. "Everyone, stop arguing. Mr. Thatcher's condition is critical, and I guarantee, on behalf of the Rhodes family, that Dr. Lloyd is the only one who can treat him."

The crowd was shocked by Lauren's faith, leaving them uncertain and confused. Only Bernard remained silent.
