Chapter 633 Frame Her

โ€œWhat are you talking about?โ€

Meryl found Rachelโ€™s words utterly absurd and couldn't bring herself to believe them. During her hospital stay, Chandler had been by her side every step of the way. He worked during the day and spent his nights at the hospital, even having Walter bring him fresh clothes. Chandler was swamped with work at Galaxy Holdings Group, often burning the midnight oil. Sometimes, after late-night meetings and drinks, he would still make it to her side, no matter how late it was.

As the weather turned cooler, he would lie beside her in the hospital bed, holding her tightly to keep her warm. Meryl loved to run her cool hands over his abs, feeling the heat radiate from him.

โ€œMeryl, youโ€™ve got some nerve. You think just because youโ€™re pregnant, I canโ€™t do anything to you?โ€

Chandlerโ€™s voice was low, and the tension in his eyes hinted at a dangerous edge. It was a tease, a seduction, a sign that things might heat up. But with Meryl so far along in her pregnancy, Chandler couldnโ€™t act on his desires, even though the urge was palpable. In moments like these, he would bury his chin in her neck, rubbing against her, a silent act of revenge for the restraint he had to show. Meryl was ticklish and would squirm, begging him to stop. Even though they were crammed into a small hospital bed, she felt incredibly happy โ€“ deeply fulfilled in a way that warmed her heart.

But now, as Meryl saw Rachel in her slippers, standing in their home, claiming she lived there, Merylโ€™s first instinct was disbelief.

โ€œThis is my home! How could you possibly live here?โ€

Rachel had just emerged from the master bedroom, and Meryl noticed the telltale signs that someone had been sleeping there. Her expression hardened, and her voice turned icy. โ€œWho let you into my room? Get out!โ€ She yanked the covers off the bed and tossed them onto the floor, disgusted that another woman had been in her space.

Rachel remained unfazed, casually tossing her hair over her shoulder. She showed up at their home.

Meryl glared at her, fury bubbling up. โ€œYeah, Iโ€™m dramatic! You need to leave, Rachel! Are you deaf or just stupid?โ€

Rachel met Merylโ€™s gaze head-on. โ€œWhoโ€™s really not understanding here? I said I live here. Do you not get it? Thanks to you, I got booted from the orchestra. Chandler set me up with this new place, and guess what? Itโ€™s right here! Talk about a silver lining, right?โ€

Meryl was taken aback, utterly incredulous. She didnโ€™t believe a word Rachel said. Instead of listening to Rachelโ€™s nonsense, Meryl decided to call Chandler herself. She pulled out her phone and walked toward the door, dialing his number. After two rings, it went to voicemail. Meryl frowned, wondering what could be keeping him, โ€œIs he in a meeting?โ€

She set her phone down and turned to Rachel. โ€œNo matter how you ended up here, Iโ€™m ordering you to leave my house right now. If you donโ€™t, Iโ€™ll call the cops.โ€

โ€œChandler invited me! Why should I leave? This is his house, and he paid for it. Whatโ€™s it to you?โ€ Rachel shot back, her

โ€œIโ€™m his wife! His assets are partially mine, so donโ€™t act like this has nothing to do with me!โ€ Meryl retorted, leaving Rachel momentarily speechless.

But Rachel tilted her head back defiantly and said, โ€œFine, Iโ€™ll leave! But even if I go, Chandler will personally come to pick me up!โ€ She made a show of heading downstairs, and Meryl, feeling furious, grabbed the sheets Rachel had slept on and tossed them into the trash. After replacing them with fresh linens, she prepared to step outside.

To her surprise, when she opened the door, Rachel was still there. She thought, โ€œHow could a woman be so shameless? Iโ€™ve kicked her out, yet Rachel stubbornly clings to the place shamelessly.โ€

Meryl noticed Rachel was on the phone, and just as she stepped out, Rachel suddenly raised her hand and slapped herself across the face. Meryl was taken aback.

โ€œIs this woman out of her mind? Why is she hitting herself?โ€

Rachel complained into the phone, โ€œUghโ€ฆ that hurt. She just hit me! Did you hear that, Chandler?โ€

Meryl mused, โ€œIs she really calling Chandler?โ€ Frowning, Meryl silently retreated into the room.

She grabbed a basin from the bathroom, filled it with water, and walked back outside.

โ€œIโ€™m giving you one last chance. Are you leaving or not?โ€

Rachel glanced at the front door and, with a smirk, mouthed the words โ€œcrazy womanโ€ to Meryl.

That was it. Meryl couldnโ€™t take it anymore. She hurled the basin of water straight at Rachel. It landed perfectly, drenching Rachel from head to toe. Standing at the top of the stairs, Rachel looked like a soaked rat. She hadnโ€™t expected Meryl to actually go through with it. The cold water, especially with winter approaching, sent a shiver down her spine as it soaked into her clothes.

Rachel yanked the basin off her head, glaring at Meryl. โ€œYou canโ€™t treat me like this, Meryl! Ahโ€ฆโ€

Meryl froze. Before she could even touch Rachel, the woman suddenly screamed and tumbled down the stairs. Meryl stared, bewildered. She mused, โ€œWhat is she doing?

Chapter 633 Frame Her

This woman has just slapped herself, and now she is throwing herself down the stairs? Is this some kind of twisted game?โ€

Today was supposed to be a day of celebration, but Rachel had completely ruined her mood. Meryl leaned over the staircase to see Rachel sprawled on the floor, unable to get up. The wooden stairs were covered with a rug, which provided some cushioning, but falling from that height couldnโ€™t have felt good. Meryl thought it was karma.

Just then, the door chimed as Chandler walked in. He had heard the commotion outside and rushed home, worried that something had happened to Meryl. In his haste, he had struggled with the fingerprint lock and ended up entering the code, which had taken a moment longer than heโ€™d liked. As he entered, he was met with the sight of Rachel lying on the floor, drenched and looking utterly pathetic. It took him a few seconds to process what he was seeing. She was soaked, and there was a bruise forming on her forehead. Chandler had no idea what had happened, but from the sounds heโ€™d heard, it was clear that Rachel and Meryl had been in a heated argument before Rachel fell.

โ€œMeryl, are you hurt?โ€ Chandler rushed inside, concern etched on his face.

Rachel, tears streaming down her cheeks, thought, โ€œIโ€™m the one who fell and got hurt! Why does Chandler care more about Meryl than me?โ€
