Chapter 728 Kids Were Innocent!

Meryl only thought for two seconds and rejected Felix’s proposal.

The reason was simple. She already owed Felix too much.

And favors were the hardest to repay.

She didn’t want their relationship to become more complicated.

“Then if you were a woman choosing a husband, who would you choose?”

Philip thought, “Is that even necessary? Chandler is more reliable in terms of personality.”

Meryl did not leave the hospital.

She went to the self-service machine in the lobby to print out her son’s recent medical bill.

She found that her son’s body might have serious problems.

She knew a lot about pharmacology, so she carefully looked at the medicines prescribed by the doctor.

Many of these medicines were used to treat heart diseases.

When her son was first admitted to the hospital, the doctor did not say that he had a serious heart problem. They just said that he had a little problem, but as he got older, he would slowly recover.

She wondered, “Why did he get worse after staying in the hospital for a month?”

The birthmark he had when he was born couldn’t disappear after staying in the hospital for a month, right?”

Meryl pursed her lips and fixed her eyes on the baby’s face.

This little guy really looked a bit like her.

Meryl didn’t say anything.

She took out her phone and took a photo of the baby’s face. Then she compared it with the photo she had taken before.
