Chapter 96: Allison drove through a busy city area when she noticed two black cars following her from a distance. They kept a constant distance—never too close, but never too far. Time after time, they nearly cornered her.

"Trying to drive me into a dead end," Allison sneered, her voice heavy with disdain. Undeterred, she swerved off the overpass toward an older part of the city, leading them to a narrow alley, a true dead end. A perfect dead end. Just the way she liked it.

After checking for onlookers, Allison calmly exited her car. The two black vehicles screeched to a halt, and several tattooed thugs with thick gold chains emerged, led by a striking blonde man. The leader looked at her condescendingly.

"Honey, we both know why we're here. Give me that medicine, or we'll take it by force," he threatened mockingly. These men weren't professionals; just local thugs.

Allison casually flexed her wrist. "Losers! Attack me all at once." His expression remained icy. The blonde's skin crawled with rage.

"You're asking for it, witch!" But one of his men tugged at his sleeve. "The big boss said no violence unless necessary."

The blonde scoffed, waving him off. "I don't care what the others say! Guys, get it! Bag up the meds and let's go!"

He headed toward Allison's car, his eyes widening at her bag on the passenger seat. Even though they'd been warned against force, a pretty girl like her…

Before he could finish, a bloodcurdling scream ripped through the air. It wasn't a woman's scream, but one of his men, clutching his abdomen and writhing on the ground as blood poured from his throat.

In a blink, Allison grabbed the blonde's hand. "There are lines you don't cross, and you'll pay for this mistake." Before he could react, a loud crack echoed through his bones. His shoulder dislocated effortlessly. Allison squeezed his neck with one hand and kneed him in the leg. The blonde, unable to fight back, collapsed, writhing helplessly.

"Damn! Why are you just standing there? Take her!" he shouted in agony, crawling backward as his men hesitated, fear etched on their faces.

"Boss… this… woman… she's trained," one whispered, his voice shaking.

In the narrow alley, Allison advanced with the cold precision of a grim reaper, each step forcing the trembling thugs backward.

The blonde shouted in frustration, "You're all useless! She's just a woman! What are you afraid of? We have sticks!"

His words snapped them out of their stupor. They grabbed their sticks, swinging at Allison's head. But in an instant, she vanished. A powerful force struck a thug from behind, sending him sprawling. The others quickly followed.

"Ah, my back!" the blonde groaned, his body wracked with pain, as if his spine might break.

Allison crouched beside him, a calm smile on her lips, though her eyes were as cold as ice. She caressed his face gently. "Colton sent you. With skills like these, you dare show your face?" she asked icily.

The blonde gritted his teeth. "No!" He hesitated, reluctant to betray his boss, but the sudden flash of a sword piercing the ground between his fingers made him shudder. It narrowly missed.

"I'll ask one last time," Allison's voice remained firm, "who sent you?"

"Yes! Yes, it was Mr. Stevens!" he finally confessed.

Allison's expression remained steely. With the mastermind identified, she felt no need to settle scores. "Get out and tell Colton not to let his guard down!" she ordered.

"Yes, yes, we'll leave immediately!" The thugs fled like ghosts, eager to escape the terrifying woman.

Still feeling the urgency of the moment, Allison ignored them and turned to her car, speeding toward the Lloyd mansion.
