Gwenda replied softly, "Yes" She didn't realize her voice trembled. Olivier's smile widened as he leaned close to her ear, whispering, "Just use a little strength, and cast it out."

Gwenda's mind went blank. She simply mimicked his actions, unaware of how the bait reached the water. All she knew was that she felt intensely hot and would explode if he didn't release her.

"Now, do you know how to do it?" Olivier remained close, his posture unchanged.

Feeling his cool breath, Gwenda bit her lip and mumbled, "Yeah, I know."

"Then we'll wait for the fish to bite." His lips brushed her ear as he spoke.

Gwenda shuddered. Just as she was about to push him away, he released her fishing rod and stepped back, his demeanor calm, as if nothing unusual had happened.

Flushing, Gwenda lowered her gaze and moved to sit down. Olivier raised an eyebrow and sat beside her.

Nearby, Wendy watched the entire scene. Covering her mouth, she giggled. "Grandmama, Olivier was teasing Gwenda under the guise of fishing!"

"Is that so?" Melanie chuckled, sounding proud. "Well, that brat finally knows what's good for him. He didn't waste the opportunity I created."

"Isn't Gwenda Olivier's girlfriend? Why do they seem so distant?"

"Not yet. Olivier's still courting her."

"Wow" Wendy looked incredulous. "Olivier actually knows how to woo a girl now" She couldn't believe it.

"The purpose of this trip is to give them opportunities for Olivier to win her heart. Be sensible later. Don't ruin it, okay?" Melanie warned.

Wendy nodded quickly. "Don't worry, Grandmama. I'm not a child. I won't ruin things. Besides, I've read lots of novels. If you need to create more opportunities, I'm the best at it!"

Melanie laughed. "You clever child!"

The four of them fished by the river all morning, concluding near noon. Only Olivier caught a substantial amount—a whole bucketful—showing his superior fishing skills.

On the way back, Wendy approached Olivier. "Olivier, how about you cook us fish for lunch?"

"You're quite good at making requests," Olivier snorted, glancing at her.

Wendy grinned, lowering her voice. "Nowadays, men who can cook are more appealing. You need to showcase your talents to tempt Gwenda!"

"You're such a smarta*s," Olivier raised an eyebrow.

Wendy smiled smugly before running to Gwenda. "Gwenda, do you know how to cook?"

Gwenda hesitated, "Er"

"It's okay if you don't, you can learn from my cousin, Olivier! How about you two prepare lunch?" Wendy grinned.

Gwenda couldn't refuse. Hesitantly, she nodded, "Okay."

"Great!" Wendy clapped, then gave Olivier a knowing look. He couldn't help but laugh. This girl

Back at the villa, Wendy strategically led Melanie to the garden for tea, giving Gwenda and Olivier some privacy.

In the kitchen, Olivier set aside the fish and put on an apron. "Do me a favor?" he asked.

Gwenda turned to see his back. "Help me tie this up."

"Okay." Gwenda reached to help.

Olivier then produced another apron for Gwenda. As he fastened it around her neck, his warm fingertips brushed her skin. Gwenda froze. Olivier leaned in close, his breath warm on her neck, his hands circling her back to secure the apron in a near-hug. Gwenda felt her brain overload.

He straightened, his calloused fingers touching her cheek. "You"

"What?" Gwenda stepped back, turning away, blushing.

"You're blushing." Olivier chuckled softly.

Gwenda lowered her head, her hair shielding her face. "I'm not."

"I saw it."

"I said I'm not!"

"Is that so?" Olivier raised an eyebrow, lifting her chin with a finger. ☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
