"I know," Olivier said, his eyes fixed on her as he approached. He cocked an eyebrow. "Why are your eyes red?"
Gwenda turned away, her heart filled with bitter rage. "What are you doing in the women's restroom? What if we're caught?"
"Don't worry. I put a maintenance sign outside."
He enveloped her, his handsome face close to hers. "You seem upset."
"I'm not," she denied instantly, pushing him away. "Stay away from me!"
"Really? Then why the grim face all night?" His burning gaze held her captive.
Gwenda was annoyed. He still dared to ask, even now. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and said, "Olivier Petit, aren't you being shameless?"
"Me? Shameless?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Yes! You are!" Her anger brought fresh tears. Breathing hard, she continued, "You said you wanted to court me because you liked me! That was a lie! If I hadn't seen you having dinner with another woman today, how long would you have kept lying? Did you think I was a fool?"
Olivier finally understood Jazlyn's plan. A playful smile touched his lips. "So, you're angry about dinner with another woman?"
"I'm not angry!!" Her eyes were red.
His smile widened. "Don't deny it. You're about to cry."
"I'm not crying!" Her voice was strained.
Realizing her emotional state, Gwenda was angry and foolish. She'd completely blown it. "Okay, I'm not crying."
He didn't press the issue. Gently touching her face, he said, "Please calm down."
She angrily slapped his hand away. "Don't touch me!"
"I can explain." He braced himself against the sink, trapping her. His warm breath brushed her face.
"Explain what? That she means nothing to you?" She glared.
He raised an eyebrow. "She does mean something to me."
Gwenda's heart ached. "Then what else is there to say?!" she yelled. This wretched fker! she thought. Does he really think I'm a fool?*
He smiled faintly. "Don't you want to know what she is to me?"
"No! F*** off!" She shoved at him.
His eyes flickered with amusement. He gripped her arm and waist, his body heat scorching her skin. He murmured, "Don't move!"
"Let go of me!" She struggled, but he was too strong.
Frustrated, she bit his arm hard. He hissed, but didn't release her.
"Let go of me!" she shouted.
"Gwenda"
"Olivier Petit! You b*d, let me go!!" She tried to bite him again.
He grabbed the back of her head and kissed her fiercely. Gwenda's eyes widened, her mind going blank.
