Gwenda stood, needing a moment. Olivier, noticing her, asked with concern, "Are you feeling unwell? We can leave if you are."
The CEOs were perturbed. They hadn't discussed their business partnerships; how could she leave now?
Gwenda quickly shook her head. "I'm fine. I need to use the restroom."
"Please return soon," Olivier replied.
"Okay," Gwenda said, nodding before rising and leaving. Olivier watched her intently until she was gone, his interest in the banquet fading. Snow, observing this, watched Gwenda with a glint in her eye and followed.
In the restroom, Gwenda was washing her hands when Snow entered, her expression hostile. Gwenda ignored her and continued washing.
Snow's anger flared. Glaring, she sneered, "I thought you weren't a schemer! You're quite good at it, huh?" Gwenda remained silent.
"Hey! I'm talking to you!" Snow shouted.
Gwenda looked up, frowning. "You're talking to me?"
"Don't play dumb! You did it on purpose! You deliberately denied knowing Mr. Petit to embarrass me!" Snow seethed, her hatred palpable. "Apologize instantly!"
"Apologize?" Gwenda raised an eyebrow. "Miss Green, are you drunk? Why should I apologize?"
"Then you're not leaving this bathroom!" Snow blocked the doorway.
Gwenda dried her hands, eyeing Snow coldly. "I suggest you see a doctor; you're clearly irrational. I'm not playing games. Move."
Unmoved, Snow scoffed, "What are you going to do? Call Mr. Petit?"
"One last time. Move!" Gwenda's eyes hardened. A cold aura emanated from her.
Snow was shocked by the shift. Gwenda left the restroom.
Snow caught up to Gwenda in the corridor. "You think you can mess with me? You embarrassed me! I won't let this slide!" She swung at Gwenda.
Gwenda intercepted Snow's wrist and slapped her hard. A handprint appeared on Snow's face.
"I, Gwenda Evans, never apologize for something I didn't do. That slap is for being a troublemaker!" Gwenda's cold gaze chilled Snow.
Snow, enraged and trembling, spat, "How dare you! I'll show you how powerful I am" She lunged at Gwenda.
Gwenda didn't dodge, instead kicking Snow's leg. Snow fell, knocking over a waiter carrying soup. The soup spilled onto Snow and the floor.
