Chapter 126: Relocation

Lin Huihe and his friends returned. Ye Mo showed little interest in their purchases, but Lin Huihe excitedly displayed a spirit-calming magic artifact he had acquired. While exquisitely crafted, its effects were poor. Ye Mo, though previously willing to improve such items, now offered only a lukewarm, "Not bad."
"Brother Ye, are you finished? If so, let's go," Lin Huihe said, assuming Ye Mo had likely made only a few thousand.
Ye Mo smiled. "Brother Lin, go ahead. I have some things to do. I'll visit later. Oh, I have some teaโa gift from a friendโit's yours."
Lin Huihe, seeing Ye Mo was occupied, departed with his friend, accepting the tea.
Ye Mo remained at his stall, his spirit sense fixed on a man with a bleak appearance. He wouldn't give up obtaining the man's rock; it was large enough for two storage rings.
An Yan wanted to taunt Ye Mo, but his annoyed expression and previous warning deterred her.
Ye Mo noticed the man with the stone hadn't left, continuing to wander. Ye Mo remained patient, unfazed by the man's presence, even if he stayed until dark. He also observed a long-haired man following, though they didn't speak.
After twenty minutes, the first man headed for the exit, circling before leaving through a safety exit. The long-haired man remained behind.
Ye Mo immediately activated invisibility and followed.
An Yan, still irritated about the necklace, noticed Ye Mo's disappearance after blinking. Confused, she rubbed her eyes, certain he had vanished.

The bleak-looking man, carrying a handbag, stood beside an Audi. He lit a cigarette, seemingly waiting.
If the man were Stage 2 Chi Gathering, Ye Mo would have incapacitated him and taken the Space Abyss Rock. However, he deemed it unnecessary. He planned to follow the car, but the man's delay saved time.
Ye Mo silently retrieved the rock, leaving immediately. He needed to prepare materials for the storage rings before going to Beijing.
Before the man finished his cigarette, the long-haired man approached. The bleak-looking man, reaching into his bag, intended to show the Space Abyss Rock to his companion.
His face changed drastically; the rock, purchased for 200,000, was gone. It had been in his bag the entire time, yet vanished. He instinctively knew it had been stolen.
"Xu Mu, what's wrong?" the long-haired man asked.
Xu Mu held the bag, silent.
"Did you lose it?" the long-haired man asked anxiously, his expression revealing the rock's importance.
Xu Mu shook his head. "No, it's still hereโฆ"
Relief washed over the long-haired man. "Then what's the problem?"
"But I feel I lost something far more preciousโฆ" Xu Mu said, his face grim.
"Nonsense! What's more precious than the hidden sect's attack artifacts? We spent 50 million on that! Master said he'll break through after his solitary training and confront Qian Longtou. Even without a breakthrough, this artifact will make Qian Longtou cautious," the long-haired man said.
Xu Mu frowned. After a pause, he said, "I feel I lost the spirit-sensing stone Master mentioned. He said holding it, closing your eyes, and sensing it with your body would give you a feeling of spreading your spirit; an indescribable sense of space and time. This stone is crucial for his breakthrough."
He looked at the long-haired man. "If Master got that stone, his breakthrough chances would drastically increase. It could aid future breakthroughs. This stone, evoking a sense of vastness, is priceless. Isn't it far more valuable than what we bought?"
"Such a stone exists? For a martial artist like Master, that stone would beโฆ" The long-haired man trailed off, but Xu Mu understood. It was worth far more than the 50 million artifact.
Xu Mu's face was serious. "It must be him. Why else would he watch it so closely? He knew its significance. His desire to buy it made me decide. Only he would have the motive. Now it's gone."
"Are you sure you weren't followed?" the long-haired man asked, understanding Xu Mu's implication.
Xu Mu shook his head. "Definitely notโฆ perhapsโฆ" He subconsciously glanced back at the exhibition. "Let's go back, tell the organizer to close and investigate."
The long-haired man frowned. "We're telling Metal River we're here then?"
"So what? Metal River is Uncle Metal's and Master's, not Wu Xueming's. If Master weren't in solitary training, Uncle Metal would have dealt with his arrogance and insubordination. Let him jump around for a few days. He's forgotten who gave him authority." Xu Mu's tone matched his bleak expression.
The long-haired man nodded. "Wu Xueming has become too arrogant."
They returned to the exhibition.

Ye Mo returned to the clinic in good spirits, finding Lu Xiaozhen and Yu Erhu discussing something. They greeted him excitedly.
"What's with the happiness?" Ye Mo asked casually.
"Master, Xiaozhen found a mansion! It's a bit far, but only 1.8 million. The family needs to leave quickly, so the price is low," Yu Erhu replied.
Ye Mo was pleased. He preferred a distant, discreet location. He gave Lu Xiaozhen a check. "Buy the mansion, quickly."
Lu Xiaozhen, examining the check, nearly screamed. Ye Mo had returned with 2 million after half a day. It was absurd.
Remembering Ye Mo's instructions, she and Yu Erhu left. Before departing, she asked, "Master, your ID?"
Ye Mo waved his hand. "Use yours. Time is short."
Lu Xiaozhen stuck out her tongue, understanding his character.
Ye Mo's haste stemmed from Lin Huihe knowing his location. Someone could easily find him. He also possessed the Space Abyss Rock, aware of its value. He wasn't sure if the bleak-looking man knew its significance, but remained vigilant.
He also wanted to transplant his Silver Heart Grass. Though not dead, it wasn't thriving. Changing locations was preferable to waiting for it to die. If the new place failed, he'd return to Ning Hai.
Lu Xiaozhen, despite graduating less than a year ago, acted swiftly. Within a week, all procedures were completed. The family's urgency meant they moved in within a week.
