Chapter 183: I Want to Hit the Ye Family

Ye Mo saw Yun Bing rush toward a man, attempting to throw a bottle. Two people restrained her and dragged her inside the bar. Ye Mo followed, kicked the two men aside, and pulled Yun Bing free. Seeing Ye Mo, Yun Bing ran into his arms and wept. Zhuo Yangqing entered, witnessing the scene, and stood silently behind Ye Mo.

Feng Rong stood, coldly watching Ye Mo. A young man beside him remained seated, ignoring Ye Mo. After a struggle, the two men rose to attack, but the young man waved them off. “We’re civilized people; let the police handle these maggots. Tell them not to let this bastard out again.”

Bar staff had already called the police, recognizing Ye Mo’s advantage despite being outnumbered. Yun Bing calmed, rising from Ye Mo’s arms. Zhuo Yangqing offered her tissues.

“What’s the matter?” Ye Mo asked.

Yun Bing pointed at Feng Rong, saying hatefully, “This animal plotted against me years ago, and now he’s trying to harm me again.”

Ye Mo frowned. He understood Feng Rong was Yun Bing’s former boyfriend who had betrayed her. He was displeased that the second attempt had nearly succeeded, blaming Yun Bing for her vulnerability.

Seeing Ye Mo’s displeasure, Yun Bing lowered her head, realizing she wouldn't have been harmed a second time even without today's events. She was disappointed with Feng Rong and increasingly drawn to Ye Mo. She wondered about his eight-year absence in America and his coincidental return.

Police sirens sounded. The speed of their arrival indicated the youth's high status. He ordered, “Take him away; he committed a heavy crime. I’ll provide evidence later.”

The officers saw Ye Mo and froze, recognizing him as someone to fear.

“Why aren’t you moving?” the youth demanded.

Yun Bing approached the youth, grabbed his neck, slapped him, and kicked him to the other men. The youth, bloodied and toothless, lay paralyzed.

Feng Rong watched in terror, surprised by Ye Mo’s audacity. He couldn’t understand the police inaction. Ye Mo merely patted Feng Rong’s shoulder. “Don’t go anywhere tomorrow; eat well today. Piss off.”

Unknowing of the death sentence Ye Mo had just imposed, Feng Rong attributed Ye Mo’s leniency to Yun Bing. Pointing at the fallen youth, he sneered, “You dare attack Ye Lian…”

Ye Mo was surprised. “You’re from the Ye Family?”

Feng Rong sneered, but before he could finish, he spat blood and teeth. He realized Ye Mo could easily harm him.

Ye Mo had intended to spare Feng Rong a painful death, but his arrogance angered him. Ye Lian, wiping blood from his face, snarled, “Bastard, you dare…”

Ye Mo stepped on his face. “I want to hit Ye Family people. Last time, I smashed the Ye Family gate; I didn’t see you. You’re just a small insect.”

Ye Lian, terrified of recognizing Ye Mo as the feared Ye Mo, the family ancestor, cowered. Even Ye Beirong hadn’t dared confront him. As Ye Mo prepared to kick him again, Ye Lian stammered, “Brother Ye, this isn’t my fault. Feng Rong said Yun Bing was alone…” Before he finished, Ye Mo kicked him.

Ye Mo turned to the officers. “Did you hear their verdict?”

“Yes,” they replied, bowing.

“Take these scums away. No need to notify me. Maintaining social stability is my duty,” Ye Mo said blandly.

Zhuo Yangqing laughed. Ye Mo ignored her, addressing the officers, “I suspect this bar is problematic. Notify your superior; they must investigate. Give the results to Flying Eagle Li Hu; tell him to inform me. If you find nothing, don’t blame me for taking action.” He suspected the bar’s involvement in Nie Shuangshuang's presence.

“Sorry, I caused trouble,” Yun Bing apologized.

Ye Mo waved his hand. “It’s not a problem with me here. Without me, it would be.”

Yun Bing understood. She wouldn’t be so impulsive again. Her past was dead.

“Let’s eat,” Ye Mo said.

Zhuo Yangqing suggested they eat at her house. Ye Mo agreed. She contacted her relatives, and the Zhuo family was mobilized. They eagerly awaited Ye Mo’s arrival.

Zhuo Youshan’s coral poison was quickly cured. The Zhuo family treated Yun Bing exceptionally well because of Ye Mo. Zhuo Youshan saw Ye Mo as a valuable asset.

As they prepared to leave, news reported Ou Tanye and Ou Chen’s downfall. Ye Mo realized Elder Han had acted swiftly, using him as a pawn. He would still kill Ou Tanhu.

“The Ou Family is done,” Zhuo Youshan sighed, mentioning their past misdeeds.

Yun Bing was shocked, realizing Ye Mo’s influence. She felt warmth toward him, optimistic about her future.
