A sharp, crisp voice interrupted. “Who are you calling narrow-minded, Ye Mo? You’ve got the nerve to come to class after what happened?”
“Yan Yan, Ye Mo wasn’t talking about you. What right do you have to say anything?” Shi Xiu bristled.
“Oh, Shi Xiu, you’re feeling brave today!” Yan Yan, taken aback by Shi Xiu’s defiance, went on the defensive. Ye Mo pulled Shi Xiu aside. “Ignore her; treat it like a harmless dog barking.”
“Ye Mo—” Yan Yan pointed, ready to unleash her anger. Ye Mo sneered. “Being ugly isn't your fault, but flaunting it is. And, didn't you say I couldn't get into bed with you? I'm not interested in dinosaurs.”
Ye Mo was venting the previous body’s frustrations. Yan Yan’s arrogance had reached its limit. She’d started to retaliate when—
A soft voice from the classroom doorway cut her off. “Ye Mo, I’ve been looking for you.”

As Ye Mo and Su Jingwen left, he saw their English teacher, Yun Bing, enter with textbooks. Her face showed disgust at Ye Mo's departure, but surprise—then pity—when she saw Su Jingwen.
