Chapter 246: Heartbreaking Feeling

"Susu..." Jing Xi opened the stone room door and entered.
Luo Ying looked up, confused. Food and water were delivered weekly, and the delivery person was never Jing Xi Shi Shu. Why was she here? Luo Ying knew Jing Xi Shi Shu disliked her.
Seeing Luo Ying's lack of reaction, Jing Xi smiled. "Do you know who visited today? He calls himself Ye Mo, and he says he likes you very much. But..."
Luo Ying's eyes widened. She stood, wobbling slightly before asking shakily, "Him? How is he here? What happened?"
Jing Xi's face turned cold. "Didn't you say you renounced the mortal world? No wonder you rejected Dian Cang's Bian Chao's proposal. You have a lover—quite bold."
Luo Ying bit her lip, silent, her mind filled with Ye Mo's image. She'd hoped to forget him upon her return, but his presence grew stronger, haunting her dreams and memories.
Jing Xi saw the depth of Luo Ying's feelings for Ye Mo. Discomfort gnawed at her. Though she didn't desire Ye Mo, seeing them together was unbearable. Jing Xi had stolen her man, and Ye Mo openly declared his affection for Luo Susu. If she liked Ye Mo, she couldn't compete with Luo Susu. Both mother and daughter were equally reprehensible—they both stole men.
"Even though I dislike Ye Mo, both of you will receive the harshest punishment." A cold smile touched Jing Xi's lips.
"Susu, don't worry, you'll see your lover soon. But first…" Jing Xi struck the stone wall repeatedly. A small window appeared, revealing a training ground a hundred meters away, including the greeting hall and VIP rooms.
Jing Xi opened the window and left. Luo Ying stared at her retreating back, then through the window. Her heart was tumultuous. She worried about Ye Mo. If Jing Xi Shi Shu was angered, he wouldn't escape.
Ye Mo was stunned by Luo Ying's news. He awoke to find a young nun standing before him. Seeing him awake, she said quickly, "Shi Xiong, the leader instructed me to send you away from Serenity..."
Ye Mo interrupted, "Tell your leader I'm taking Luo Ying today. No one can stop me."
Luo Ying filled his heart. He'd destroy Serenity to reclaim her. Bian Chao, a mere hidden sect member, dared covet his master? In the eyes of a Dao cultivator, Dian Cang held little sway. As long as he lived, no one would touch Luo Ying.
"Shi Xiong..." The nun protested weakly.
"Go," Jing Xi arrived, "I'll handle this."
Relieved, the nun bowed. "Yes, Shi Shu."
Ye Mo looked coldly at Jing Xi. "Take me to Luo Ying. I accept your terms."
Jing Xi said expressionlessly, "Come with me."
Jing Xi led Ye Mo to the last house, closing the door. She sighed, slowly turning and walking away. Ye Mo saw burning incense—the scent was strange. He frowned, about to speak, when Jing Xi removed her outer robe, revealing her skin and undergarments. The red sash around her waist and chest was striking.
Partially undressed, she appeared more alluring in the incense-filled room. Ye Mo couldn't understand her intentions, but his thoughts of her words didn't arouse him.
"You bad boy..." Jing Xi embraced him.
Ye Mo was stunned. A voluptuous woman, a nun, a beautiful and holy one, held him. He felt no attraction, yet desire stirred within him.
Sensing his change, Jing Xi clung closer. She intended a show for Luo Ying—to cause disappointment, despair, and hurt, then mock her. However, she didn't intend for Ye Mo to go that far. She had her pride.
But his scent, coupled with the aphrodisiac incense, overwhelmed her. She'd overestimated herself, underestimated the incense. Forty years of suppressed lust consumed her.
Jing Xi panted, her eyes clouded. She reached for his lips, her hands moving towards his chest, murmuring, "Ye Mo, take me. I want..."
Ye Mo, consumed by lust, even pulled down Jing Xi's bra, then recoiled. She knew his name; she knew who he was, yet pretended otherwise.
He saw the incense—an aphrodisiac. What did she want? He'd nearly succumbed, but she'd fallen victim to her own scheme.
When Luo Ying saw Ye Mo, she longed to cry. She recalled his rescue from the desert insects, his willingness to sacrifice a life-saving bag rather than abandon her, his self-inflicted wound so she could drink his blood. Had he come to rescue her? To take her to the clear well?
Then, she saw him embracing the other woman; her heart shattered. She couldn't comprehend her feelings. He'd made no promises, neither had she.
But seeing them together, she wept. Her chest felt crushed, her strength draining. She wanted to look away, but couldn't.
She remembered Jing Xi's words: "But before you see each other, don't be disappointed…" Disappointed? Why find her, then act thus with Jing Xi Shi Shu? Why?
Luo Ying knew Jing Xi had seduced Ye Mo, but his response was devastating. Regardless of Jing Xi's morals, she couldn't accept his behavior. She felt it was a memory from a past life, an image she couldn't reconcile with this scene. Her pain was unbearable.
Slowly turning, she wept openly, tears mixing with blood from her bitten lip, tracing a path down her chin onto the cold stone floor.
