Chapter 32: Merciless Bing's Embarrassment

Yun Bing hadn't attended school recently. She recalled that night, after leaving school, she'd planned to buy something at the supermarket. En route, she encountered a former classmate who, having purchased two drinks, offered her one. Although she preferred not to interact with him, his enthusiasm made refusal difficult; he even opened the bottle for her.
She took a few sips, exchanged a few words, and left. Soon, however, she felt dizzy. Yun Bing, independent for years and not usually naive, immediately suspected the drink. She tried to scream but her dizziness intensified, rendering her speechless. She doesn't remember what happened afterward. Waking up to find Ye Mo beside her, she wondered if he'd conspired with her classmate.
Her first impulse was to report Ye Mo to the police. However, upon self-examination, she discovered no sexual assault and nothing missing from her home. The only unusual thing was a broken door. Considering Ye Mo's age, she decided against reporting him, though inwardly resentful. She remained puzzled about how Ye Mo knew her classmate.
Further inspection revealed signs of a struggle and a smashed camera. The thought that they might have fought over her left her angry and humiliated. She planned to confront Ye Mo at school the next day, but the morning news changed her mind.
The news reported two nude, severely beaten men abandoned in Genesis Square. Though pixelated, Yun Bing found it suspicious. An internet search revealed that the victims were Zheng Wenqiao and her drugging classmate.
Immediately, she suspected Ye Mo. Regardless of his involvement, she felt a sense of satisfaction about her classmate's brutal punishment. Even if Ye Mo were responsible, she wouldn't confront him; however, his attempted assault fueled her hatred.
She understood Ye Mo hadn't fully assaulted her due to his limitations. But his presence in her room and her classmate's fate remained perplexing, leaving the matter unresolved.
That day, Yun Bing took a two-week leave of absence. Upon returning to school, she unexpectedly encountered Ye Mo.
Ye Mo, having finished his cultivation, was about to find Shi Xiu when he saw Yun Bing entering. The sight of her naked body, and specifically her breasts, flooded his memory.
Seeing Ye Mo, Yun Bing's anger erupted. His gaze intensified her rage; the memory of her exposed body fueled her fury.
"Ye Mo, come here." Though calm, her tone betrayed undeniable anger. Ye Mo, unaware she'd discovered him, approached calmly: "Teacher Yun, what is it?"
Yun Bing, leading him to a secluded area, made him uneasy. Had she discovered his involvement? It seemed impossible; she'd been unconscious, and he'd worn a mask.
Finding privacy, Yun Bing, pale-faced, asked: "Doesn't it look good?"
"What looks good? This place is unremarkable." Ye Mo sensed trouble and deflected.
Without warning, Yun Bing swung at him. Even if he hadn't been alert, he would have easily avoided the blow.
He grabbed her wrist, saying coldly: "Teacher Yun, if you have nothing to say, I'm leaving. If you try to hit me again, I will make the Ning Hai University lake your shower." He turned to leave.
"Ye Mo, you shameless man!" Yun Bing's outburst starkly contrasted her usual composure. Ye Mo ignored her. Despite her reputation as "Merciless Bing," the thought of his actions brought her to tears. After a while, she wiped her eyes and left.
From a distance, a girl watched Yun Bing leave, muttering incredulously: "I can't believe Ye Mo would harass teachers. He's truly despicable."
Ye Mo, angry and disheartened, skipped class and left school, regretting his intervention.
"Ye Mo, you're back!" Ning Qingxue greeted him, clinging to his arm. Behind her stood a tall, slender woman, roughly Qingxue's age, with long, silky hair, bright, expressive eyes, and a mature, perceptive demeanor.
"Ye Mo, this is my classmate, Zhou Lei. She's visiting from Ning Hai. Zhou Lei, this is my husband, Ye Mo." Ning Qingxue introduced them.
Only Ning Qingxue knew her true motive: to publicly establish her marriage to Ye Mo. Zhou Lei, a journalist, clearly had ulterior motives.
"Hello, Miss Zhou." Ye Mo shook her hand.
"Hello, Mr. Ye, please call me Zhou Lei, and you can call me Ye Mo." Zhou Lei's smile was professional. She'd heard rumors about Ye Mo and suspected this marriage was a strategic alliance to avoid the Song family. Their living conditions further fueled this belief, but his composure surprised her.
"Qingxue, you should have told me your friend was coming. Zhou Lei, haven't you eaten? Let's get something. I apologize for the humble accommodations. Qingxue's endured some hardship with me, but it's temporary." Ye Mo wanted to avoid a lengthy conversation, eat, and dismiss Zhou Lei's inquisitive nature.
