Chapter 511: She’s Called Luo Luo Translator: Tim Editor: GlobeGlotter

“Come on, let’s go together, Brother Ye. I still want to see Er Hu after dinner, though.” Yang Yi dragged Ye Mo along. Ye Mo shook his head, deciding to go along. “Yang Yi, who is that?” a girl asked. Yang Yi released Ye Mo’s arm. “He’s my cousin. If you’re interested, I can introduce you.” The girls laughed and began asking about Ye Mo. The group entered the Yun Shang Pearl amid laughter and joy. The place was indeed grand. Yang Yi’s gathering was on the ninth floor. When she brought Ye Mo in, over ten people were already there. Seeing Yang Yi, everyone greeted her, and conversation soon turned to Gu Mingnan’s new girlfriend. Ye Mo’s curiosity was piqued. He wanted to see this woman who’d caused such a stir. After listening awhile, he learned her name was Luo Luo, and that she was reportedly far prettier than any movie star. He also heard she’d been found near the Duan Heng Ranges. It was said she’d been very withdrawn since waking up and rarely spoke. “Brother Ye, if Gu Mingnan hadn’t found her, I’d think you two would be a good match. You seem to have similar temperaments—it’s hard to describe,” Yang Yi said. Ye Mo smiled but didn’t reply. Liu Shang quickly interjected, “Xiao Yi, don’t say that; Gu Mingnan wouldn’t be happy.” “Hm, aren’t you a bit too timid?” Yang Yi said loudly, attracting the attention of several other students. Liu Shang blushed and remained silent. Ye Mo quickly gestured for Yang Yi to sit down. He sensed Liu Shang was cautious and cared deeply for her. “Mingnan and his girlfriend, Luo Luo, are here, let’s applaud!” someone clapped. A young man and a woman in her twenties entered. The woman wore a light white veil, but her figure was clearly visible; she had a slender waist and fair skin. Ye Mo’s eyes fell on the woman, a sense of familiarity washing over him. He recognized her. ‘It’s actually her! No wonder she was found in the mountains.’ “Mingnan, take her veil off, let us see her!” the crowd cheered. Gu Mingnan laughed. “Luo Luo didn’t want to come, but it’s our graduation celebration, so she came to see everyone, but she’ll be leaving immediately.” “Luo Luo, take off your veil—” Gu Mingnan began, but noticed her eyes fixed on a student. He followed her gaze. Ye Mo shook his head. The woman had recognized him, so he stood. As Ye Mo was about to speak, the woman rushed to him and took his hand, seemingly wanting to say something but unable. Though Ye Mo wanted to ask why she was there, he knew this wasn’t the time. Gu Mingnan stared blankly, speechless. After a moment, he reacted, asking desperately, “Luo Luo, who is he? What are you doing?” “Sorry, Mingnan. I just saw my brother, and I remembered some things. Thank you for taking care of me, but I’ll be going back with him,” she said, removing her veil. But her words were lost as everyone stared at her face. It wasn’t strikingly beautiful, but possessed a regal, ethereal quality. Ye Mo touched his nose and didn’t object. He wondered why Luo Xuan’s older martial sister had lost all her inner qi, but he didn’t deny knowing her. For Luo Xuan’s sake, he’d help if he could. Besides, he suspected the Ni Luo Sutra was on her, so he needed to question her about it. “You’re saying he’s your brother?” Gu Mingnan asked, still stunned. Luo Yin nodded. “Yes, I didn’t remember before, but seeing him, I remembered.” Gu Mingnan eyed Ye Mo suspiciously. Ye Mo didn’t look like a brother who’d just found his lost sister, but he couldn’t force her to stay. He’d saved her, yet hadn’t even touched her hand when she woke up. His frustration boiled. ‘I must have this woman! With my family’s power in Luo Cang, so what if she found her brother?’ Ye Mo saw Gu Mingnan’s intentions. He sneered at Gu Mingnan’s naiveté. Ancient martial artists like her were ruthless. They weren’t innocent like Luo Xuan. Though Gu Mingnan had saved Luo Yin, if he tried to take advantage of her, she’d kill him; she hadn’t only because of her injuries. Yang Yi and the others froze. They hadn’t expected Ye Mo to be Luo Luo’s brother. It was too comical! Those observant enough saw the underlying issues—there was no sibling reunion joy. “Ye Mo, you’re Luo Xuan’s boyfriend, can’t you look a little happier seeing me?” Luo Yin said, displeased with Ye Mo’s demeanor. Ye Mo was shocked. If Luo Yin was this injured, what about Luo Xuan? Luo Xuan was innocent and kind—she’d even given him two of those important golden papers and been willing to jump with him. He cherished Luo Xuan as much as Ye Ling or Tang Beiwei. “What happened to Luo Xuan?” Ye Mo asked, grabbing Luo Yin’s hand, worry etched on his face. Luo Yin felt a pang of envy; she wished someone worried about her like that. “Luo Xuan is fine, don’t worry. She doesn’t know what happened to me. Unless something unexpected happened, she should be safe,” Luo Yin said. But Ye Mo was still worried and had many questions, but he knew this wasn’t the place to discuss them.
