“Did you find Ye Mo?” Liang Shiguo’s voice shook. He feared hearing that they hadn’t.
The waiter hesitated. “CEO Liang, we haven’t found Ye Mo. He called, though. He said—”
“What did he say? Tell me!” Everyone stared at Liang Shiguo, who was worried but also relieved. Ye Mo’s call was a good sign; he might still be in Luo Cang.
“Ye Mo saw that levels 3 and above of Otherworldly Entertainment collapsed and asked if you were still there and what was going on,” the waiter relayed.
“Anything else?” Liang Shiguo pressed.
The waiter thought, I wanted to tell you everything at once, but you keep interrupting! He didn’t dare say this aloud, so he continued, “Ye Mo said you don’t know how to run a business. You turned a perfectly good place into scrap. Instead of giving him a diamond card, you should have given him the business; he’d run it better. He even jokingly left a number, saying if you’re interested, you can give him the business, and he’ll negotiate immediately. He’s leaving Luo Cang tonight and won’t be back for at least a week. Contact him before tonight.”

Ye Mo smiled. “Boss Liang, I heard your waiter say you want to give me Otherworldly Entertainment. At first, I thought, ‘How could I accept that?’ But since you asked multiple times, I’d seem fake not to take it. So I will! I have someone here to handle the takeover. You just need to talk to him. But really, Boss Liang, you’re kind. I’ll treat you to dinner when you return to Luo Cang.”
As soon as Ye Mo finished, the manager asked, “CEO Liang, should we process this now?”

Elder Qu’s face paled.

The old man needed a scapegoat or he’d be dead. Losing two crystals meant death, regardless of his status.
He looked at Sister Ling. Her face was already pale; Elder Qu’s gaze sent chills down her spine. She knew she was finished.
“Lu Lin, I don’t know how you took the energy stones, but this isn’t something I can decide now. Chen Zhui, take Lu Lin away immediately; we’re going to headquarters.” He knew staying was pointless. If the stone was still there, the detector would have found it. It wasn’t, meaning it was gone.
Sister Ling trembled, unable to speak. She knew anything she said would be useless. Besides Liang Shiguo, she’d been closest to the stone.
She finally understood why Wen Dong and Feng Tian risked death fleeing Northern Sand. When Wen Dong left, she hadn’t left for the Space Flower blueprint. Now she saw Northern Sand for what it was. Ironically, she only understood now.
