Chapter 533: I Will Turn the South African Bay into a Bloodbath

Dongfang Tang’s expression finally turned angry. Blue Ray Corporation was a renowned mercenary company worldwide, but Ye Mo claimed he’d never heard of it. This was a slap in the face. Moreover, many of their company's people were being held by Luo Yue; even if he hadn't heard of it before, he should have by now.

Ye Mo sneered. Although Dongfang Tang wasn't bad, he seemed immature. Why would the corporation send someone who couldn't control his facial expressions? Ye Mo subconsciously looked at Shana, thinking perhaps he’d shown that face for her. If so, Dongfang Tang was craftier than Dongfang Xi.

Dongfang Tang took longer to recover his composure this time. He felt Ye Mo was no easy target for negotiation.

“Mr. Ye, let’s be straightforward. Due to a recent minor conflict with you, some of our corporation's people are being held here. Although a misunderstanding, it’s still our fault. We’re willing to compensate you for your losses if you let us bring back our people,” Dongfang Tang said.

Ye Mo frowned. “Your people had conflict with us? How come I don’t know? I think you’re mistaken. If that’s all, please leave.”

Seeing Shana remain silent, Dongfang Tang added, “Of course, our company wouldn’t directly conflict with you; we’re a security company. Sometimes we’re paid to help clients. Our people were sent here because others hired us.”

Ye Mo quietly disapproved; calling a mercenary corporation a security company was shameless.

Ye Mo said casually, “Oh? Explain meticulously. You’re the first I’ve heard this from.”

Dongfang Tang didn’t expect Ye Mo to force a confession. He fell silent; recognizing involvement differed from admitting responsibility for the attack.

Global reports detailed the pirate fleet attacks on Luo Yue.

Anyone with sense knew it wasn’t a regular pirate attack; pirates rarely had fleets. A country was attacking Luo Yue; as long as Luo Yue didn’t point fingers, others wouldn’t. Even the most audacious news channel wouldn’t guess which country without definite evidence.

Exposure would cause international conflict.

Ye Mo’s question meant he wanted Dongfang Tang to reveal the mastermind. Luo Yue could annihilate a fleet; who knew if they’d use it as a pretext for war? Though he knew Luo Yue lacked the power or nerve, Dongfang Tang still hesitated.

“It happened like this: we saw reports of your city's attack, then realized low-level company personnel contacted pirates to invade Luo Yue. We deeply apologize and express our sincere contrition,” Dongfang Tang said, avoiding mention of Indonesia.

Slap! Ye Mo stood up, saying coldly, “So, Blue Ray Corporation attacked Luo Yue City? Don’t blame pirates! I’ll go to your corporation, and since you dared invade Luo Yue, don’t blame me for attacking your bay.”

Dongfang Tang was shocked. He hadn’t expected Ye Mo’s sudden change in expression. Mentioning the bay meant he’d investigated their mercenary storage location.

“In that case, there’s nothing to discuss. Goodbye.” Dongfang Tang stood and left.

Ye Mo added coldly, “Tell General Ku You that in a week I will turn the South African Bay into a bloodbath! Tell him to prepare himself.”

Dongfang Tang almost stumbled. A bloodbath in their bay? Did Ye Mo not consider their thousands of mercenaries human? His words clearly indicated thorough investigation, including knowledge of the general.

He wanted to add something, but knew he couldn’t negotiate further.

Watching the visitors leave, Ye Mo sneered. He was sure Ku You would come to Luo Yue. It was partly a threat; if Ku You didn’t come, he would annihilate his corporation.

As for the Indonesian navy, he’d wait until Luo Yue’s defenses were perfected before crippling them.

He’d never been one to take an attack lying down.

This was his principle in the cultivation realm. A peaceful life wasn’t attained through timidity, but through power.

Ye Mo left the guest hall and saw Huang Yinian and Guo Qi approaching hurriedly with thirty or forty people. They weren’t worried; they were excited.

“Brother Ye, these are Blue Ray Corporation mercenaries. They wish to join Luo Yue, so I brought them. Many are good soldiers,” Guo Qi said, pointing at the people behind him.

“City Lord, their naval capabilities are comparable to mine. They were highly paid; some are air force and land special soldiers. They joined the mercenary corporation for money,” Huang Yinian said quickly.

Seeing Ye Mo studying them, Huang Yinian pointed at a black man. “He’s Mikeson, a former captain of the 6th US fleet, sacked for a critical error—he came to the mercenary company to earn money. The tall thin one behind him is Tony, a former British air force lieutenant. His wife had an affair with a superior; he caught them, killed them, and escaped to the mercenary corporation to get rich.”

Huang Yinian pointed at each man, and Ye Mo learned each had a story. All had been elite soldiers.

Ye Mo now understood why Blue Ray Corporation wanted them back; they were highly paid.

“Commander Huang, Captain Guo, assign them to their roles. We lack planes and an air force, but that’s temporary. Let Tony be responsible for air force establishment. Anyone wishing to live in Luo Yue long-term can have land and bring their families,” Ye Mo decreed. Not even Blue Ray Corporation wanted to give these people up.

Ye Mo paused. “If more like them wish to stay in Luo Yue, we welcome them. Their treatment will be at least as good as before; we’re the most profitable business in the world.”

“Yes,” Huang Yinian said, taking the men away.

Ye Mo was happy Luo Yue’s military was taking shape. Once Luo Yue could protect itself, with him and Ye Xing, all the world's money would flow to Luo Yue.

Meanwhile, Ku You paced, regretting taking the Indonesian mission. They’d earned hundreds of millions settling internal conflicts, but this time they’d lost their entire army.
