Chapter 563: Patient but Cruel Liu Luosi Translator: Timothy Editor: GlobeGlotter
Ye Mo didn’t wait long before a Chinese man and Liu Luosi arrived. Dou Yuezhu closed the door, seeing the intense killing intent in Ye Mo’s eyes. He knew how to save his life: please Ye Mo.
Ye Mo looked at the Chinese man and asked coldly, “You beat Yin Jia?”
“Who are you? Brother Dou, what’s this?” The man saw Jim on the ground and Dou Yuezhu’s reverence, frowning. Dou Yuezhu ignored him. Sensing something, the man replied to Ye Mo, “Yes, I beat Yin Jia. Mr. Edward ordered—”
Ye Mo cut him off, saying to Dou Yuezhu, “Kill him.”
Dou Yuezhu hadn’t expected this, but he walked to the man and punched him. The man, unprepared and no match for Dou Yuezhu, stared in shock as the punch landed on his heart. He felt like his heart exploded.
Falling, he gasped, “You dare kill me? I’m one of Edward’s men, you—”
Dou Yuezhu was expressionless. He had to save himself—even if it meant killing Edward.
Ross understood the situation immediately. Seeing Ye Mo, his heart pounded. Hadn’t Edward taken Ye Mo away? Why was he here?
“Dou Yuezhu, you dare kill my nephew?! He’s Edward’s underling!” Ross raged. His nephew was a capable fighter and helped Edward considerably.
But Dou Yuezhu seemed to ignore him. Ross’s voice died down; he understood his predicament. The young Chinese man held Dou Yuezhu's loyalty.
“How are you here? Mr. Edward, how could he—” Ross shivered, feeling a chilling unease. He felt he was missing something crucial.
“Edward? I killed him.” Ye Mo’s words paralyzed Ross. It was the only explanation for Ye Mo’s presence.
If Ye Mo could kill Edward, what about him? Ross sweated heavily.
Dou Yuezhu remained silent, shocked Ye Mo had killed Edward. This man terrified him. If Ye Mo planned to kill everyone, how could he survive?
“Why did you target Yin Si and Yin Jia? This is your only chance to explain,” Ye Mo’s cold voice demanded.
“I’ll say it! Please have mercy! All my money is yours!” Ross knew he was powerless.
“You talk too much. Dou Yuezhu, cut off a leg.” Ye Mo ordered. Dou Yuezhu quickly produced a dagger and sliced off one of Ross’s legs, then helped staunch the bleeding, preventing Ross from fainting. Ye Mo nodded; Dou Yuezhu worked efficiently.
Ross was terrified. He knew not to bargain with Ye Mo.
“Still talking?” Ye Mo’s cold voice cut through the air.
“I’ll talk! My name is Liu Luosi. I used to live in Chinese Back Street—”
“Get to the point!” Ye Mo slammed the tea table.
“Yes!” Liu Luosi shivered. “I asked Yin Si for help once. At her house, Yin Si and Yin Jia were absent, but I saw Yin Si’s aunt removing her makeup; she was breathtakingly beautiful. I’d never seen such beauty. I fell in love. But she rarely went out, afraid of recognition. I didn't dare approach her, but I couldn't forget her.”
Liu Luosi, seemingly forgetting his plight, continued, “I worked in a painting workshop. I drew her from memory, but the painting couldn't capture her beauty. That day, I swore to earn money—lots of it—to give to Yin Si’s aunt and marry her.”
“Hmph, a pig like you dared dream of marrying Sister Yan?” Ye Mo scoffed.
Liu Luosi continued, oblivious. “Then came my opportunity. Annie’s uncle arrived from Hong Kong, seeking Annie’s father. He asked me for help. He had a lot of money. My nephew and I kidnapped him, learned his bank details, and killed him. That’s how I got my first two million. I wanted to open a restaurant-hotel, but I soon found that wasn’t enough to survive here. I joined Edward, and my nephew became his hitman. Edward was greedy, taking half my profits. Then Edward bragged that whoever found a woman like Marilyn Monroe would get half his wealth!”
“I immediately thought of Yin Si’s aunt. She was much prettier than Marilyn Monroe.” Ross’s expression softened, though it looked creepy to others.
“I said I could find such a woman. Edward was interested. I said all I wanted was to keep my hotel’s profits. He agreed. I showed him my painting. He was fascinated.”
Slap! Ye Mo slammed the table. “Animal! You said you’d earn money for Sister Yan, then you’d give her away? Garbage!”
Ye Mo’s roar snapped Liu Luosi back to reality. “I wanted to earn money, take over Edward’s business, kill him, and then make Yin Si’s aunt happy.”
Ye Mo and Dou Yuezhu understood Liu Luosi: patient but cruel.
“Cut off his limbs and kill him.” Ye Mo gestured to Dou Yuezhu. He had no more questions for such an evil man.
