Chapter 829: Teleport Activated

The moment the Xin Jia Mountain teleportation formation activated, the Duan Heng Ranges’ Seven Star Formation emitted faint rays of light. Initially weak, with only one star shining brightly, the seven peaks soon glowed faintly, eventually forming a large, spoon-shaped configuration. As the light was drawn into a huge rock, the light at the Tian Kou position intensified, culminating in a large, round image. Had Ye Mo been present, he would have recognized the fully activated, self-repaired Seven Star Formation.

News of its activation quickly spread among the hidden sects. Jiu Ming Academy and the Chinese government collaborated to secure the site. While the outer sects remained unaware of its purpose, the disappearance of several scientists suggested a connection to the inner sects.

Zeng Zhengxia and Caiji, privy to Ye Mo's knowledge of the small world, entered immediately, prompting a steady influx of others. Witnessing Ye Mo's power, the hidden sects realized their dominance was limited to the mortal world; reaching higher realms required venturing elsewhere.

The Chinese government's control of the site remained inconclusive, as all entrants vanished without a trace. Despite this, the hidden sects, even defying the Heaven Squad, continued to enter.

This news reached Luo Yue.

“Sister Ling,” Yimo said, now at Stage 2, “My father hasn’t returned in two months. Do you think he went to the small world? I believe he went to find the other two aunts.”

Song Yangzhu started to speak, but Yimo playfully stuck out her tongue.

Observing the happy couple, Su Jingwen felt a pang of sadness. She realized Ye Mo was the only man she would ever care for, preferring solitude to any other relationship. For the first time, she wished to avoid seeing him again.

Ye Ling looked uneasily at Su Jingwen and Chi Wanqing, sighing before producing two jade bottles. “Sister Jingwen, Wanqing, my brother left these pills for you before he left. He said he was looking for you both. Your presence here indicates he failed to find you.”

“Face-preserving pills?” Su Jingwen exclaimed, rising excitedly. “Ye Ling, did your brother really leave these? Did he say he was looking for us?”

Ye Ling nodded firmly. Her brother had left them for her, but she had no need, prompting her to give them to the two women.

Chi Wanqing’s face lit up. Ye Mo still remembered her. She wondered if he still kept her gift, but her weariness vanished.

Song Yangzhu sighed. Compared to them, she felt incredibly fortunate. She knew that without the accident that led to Yimo, she wouldn't be with him. She felt grateful for that accident; it brought her Ye Mo, cultivation, and the security of his protection.

She understood why Luo Ying and Ning Qingxue sought Ye Mo in the small world—they couldn't bear to be without him. He was unique. Su Jingwen and Chi Wanqing, each with their unique experiences, understood his irreplaceability. No other man could touch their hearts as he had. Su Jingwen resolved to speak to Ye Mo personally, regardless of his feelings.

As they spoke, Xu Yuehua arrived at the Luo Yue Mansion. Having recently reached Great Heaven and learning of the small world's portal, she immediately came.

“Sister Yuehua,” Song Yangzhu rose quickly.

“A teleportation formation to the small world appeared in the Duan Heng Ranges. Are you going?” Xu Yuehua asked urgently, having abandoned her job to focus on cultivation.

“I want to wait for Ye Mo to return and ask him,” Song Yangzhu hesitated. She suspected he'd gone in, but preferred to wait. What if he hadn't?

Ye Ling added, “Sister-in-law Yangzhu, I suspect my brother went in. He’s been gone two months and hasn’t returned. He’s usually much faster. Perhaps he opened the portal? But we should wait. He often leaves for extended periods.”

Xu Yuehua's initial excitement subsided. She realized Song Yangzhu and Ye Ling weren't ready to leave Luo Yue, unlike herself. Her pursuit of ultimate cultivation was her sole focus.

“Even if you’re not going, I am,” Xu Yuehua declared. “I have nothing to keep me here. I'll explore the small world; if it doesn't work out, I'll return.”

“Sister Yuehua, I’ll go with you,” Su Jingwen surprised them both by rising.

“Me too,” Chi Wanqing affirmed, resolved to follow in Ye Mo's footsteps.
