"What's your point?" Ye Mo's tone chilled. He cared little for the strikes, but her inquiry hinted at a plan.

Fu Yishuang, noticing his alertness, hastened to explain, "Don't worry. My interest stems from the fact that they belong to my Fu family."

This clarified her motive for wanting Li Baisen dead. Upon obtaining the final three strikes, Ye Mo realized the Illusion Cloud didn't belong to the Li family. However, the Fu family's version seemed incomplete as well.

"Centuries ago, the Li family slaughtered the Fu family after acquiring the Illusion Cloud," Fu Yishuang calmly explained. "Our descendants' sole purpose is reclaiming it and enacting revenge."

Ye Mo responded indifferently, "You've been absent from your sect for two years; much has changed. They reportedly allied with Hidden Sword, and the Ping Yao Li family was annihilated by the sect. Perhaps retrieving the Illusion Cloud Six Strikes is all that remains. As for revenge, the sect has already handled that."

"Huh?" Fu Yishuang was stunned. After a long pause, she murmured, "So, some things needn't be done."

Ye Mo remained silent, observing her. She soon recovered, gazing intently at him. "This means that if you give me the Illusion Cloud, I'm free from the Fu family blood oath!"

Ye Mo stated plainly, "That's true, and I do possess it. But we're neither related nor friends. Why should I give it to you?"

Fu Yishuang faltered. Hesitantly, she offered, "But when you killed Li Baisen, I didn't attack you."

"You didn't attack because you knew he lacked the complete strikes. Secondly, you were intimidated. If I could kill a False Core Li Baisen, I could severely injure you. You'd only just reached the Golden Core state and couldn't afford injuries. Therefore, I owe you nothing."

Fu Yishuang remained silent, acknowledging the truth. Even facing Ye Mo's death, she wouldn't have intervened.

Fu Yishuang looked down, unconvinced, yet acknowledging his assistance.

Ye Mo, sensing her disbelief, continued, "You owe me, yet demand the Illusion Cloud for free? That's absurd. If you wish to steal it, try."

Fu Yishuang knew she couldn't fight him.

"I'm leaving," Ye Mo declared, about to summon Zi Xu.

"Wait!" Fu Yishuang stopped him. Without him, where would she find the strikes?

Removing her veil, she said, "I'm not unattractive. If you give me the Illusion Cloud…"

Ye Mo was taken aback. He didn't value the Illusion Cloud Six Strikes, possessing a superior Nine Strikes technique. His tough stance stemmed from a desire for Fu Yishuang's herbs—a business tactic to secure the best offer.
