Ye Mo understood Sun Houchang’s intentions: to retain the herbs and retaliate. Perhaps he summoned Ye Mo to lure Li Jingwen back for a double revenge.

Ye Mo sighed; Li Jingwen was kind and trusting, but not foolish. His request to trade at the gathering was a calculated move.
