Chapter 140: The Principal Came for a Girl

Pamela's shout summoned two security guards.

"Miss, what happened?" one asked.

Pamela pointed at Olive. "This woman doesn't have an invitation and is trying to sneak into the banquet hall. She lied, saying the principal invited her. I think she's trouble. Remove her!"

Pamela wanted Olive gone, away from attention. The guards approached Olive.

"Miss, you can't cause trouble here. Leave immediately, or we'll escort you out."

Watching Olive's humiliation filled Pamela with joy. Arrogantly, she added, "Olive, go with them."

A stern voice cut through the air. "What's going on here?"

Pamela turned to see Principal Bounty, followed by Professor Ruger. Quickly masking her hostility, Pamela smoothly explained, "Principal, this is my sister, Olive. She didn't receive an invitation but claims you invited her. That's impossible; she only graduated from high school. The guards are removing her."

Bounty looked surprised. "What do you mean, Olive only graduated from high school?"

Pamela straightened, a slight grimace playing on her lips. "Yes, Principal. She was in an orphanage and couldn't continue her education."

Professor Ruger, too, was surprised to see Olive. "Olive, why are you here? This is a medical party. Don't embarrass yourself." His prejudice was evident, yet Olive, in her beautiful dress, looked stunning.

Pamela, believing her plan successful, said proudly, "Olive, hurry up, or security will remove you."

Bounty stepped forward. "I invited Olive. Who dares remove her?"

Pamela was stunned. Did Bounty really invite Olive?

Bounty approached Olive. "Olive, why didn't you call? I would have met you."

Olive's bright eyes met Bounty's. "Principal, I just arrived and was talking to an acquaintance."

Bounty's cold gaze swept over Pamela's rigid face. She turned to the guards and a waiter. "This is my honored guest."

Pamela felt a stinging slap across her face. Bounty intimately took Olive's hand, smiling lovingly. "Olive, I was afraid you wouldn't come. The dress fits you perfectly—it suits your pure beauty. You look ravishing."

Olive smiled. "I love the dress. Thank you, ma'am."

"You're welcome, dear. Come, let me introduce you to some people." Bounty led Olive inside.

Pamela was speechless, unable to believe the elegant principal was so doting towards Olive. Bounty paused. "Olive, is that your sister?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Really? Such a difference between siblings?" Bounty shrugged and continued walking with Olive.

Pamela watched, frozen, as Bounty led Olive into the spotlight, introducing her to renowned professors. Olive, calm and elegant, received countless compliments, becoming the star of the evening.

Pamela couldn't understand how Olive knew the principal. She asked Professor Ruger, "Sir, how do Olive and the principal know each other?"

Professor Ruger, equally shocked, pondered. "The principal came to LA for a girl. Could it be Olive?"

Pamela gasped. The principal was here for Olive? She suspected Olive was hiding secrets.

In the banquet hall, Bounty introduced Olive to her guests, then smiled. "Olive, I have a very important guest for you to meet."

"Principal, who?" Olive asked.

Bounty replied mysteriously, "A secret. They haven't arrived yet."

Bounty looked around for Marvin, who hadn't come. She called him. Marvin's cold voice answered, "Aunt, I'm not coming tonight."

"Marvin, I know you have high standards, but this girl is different. You'll see. Olive is truly exceptional. I guarantee…"

Marvin interrupted. "Aunt, who is this girl? Is it Olive?"
