Chapter 163

"Wow, another fireworks gift!" the assistant's eyes lit up.

Olive looked at the screen, marveling at the display. She was stunned and quickly asked, "What's wrong with this gifter? He actually asked North to tell him she loves him."

North, in a clean white shirt and black leather pants, saw the request. Her charming eyes reflected the gifter's message.

"Beautiful North, the internet can be like this sometimes," the assistant muttered. "I'll return the gift."

"Just let it slide," North interrupted. "This man spent a huge sum, and his request is no different from the other fireworks gifters."

"Are you sure, Beautiful North?" the assistant asked uncertainly.

North looked at the camera. Her soft voice, audible to all, said, "I love you, brother."

In the luxurious room, North's words reached Raven's ears. He swallowed hard, his body going numb. He knew she'd guessed it was him. His girl was getting bold.

The gloom in Raven's eyes lightened; his lips curved into a smile. His good mood was obvious.

"Damn it, what kind of pervert is that?"

"It's nice to have money," a comment appeared on screen, "but your money can't buy North's love. Get lost!"

"North, don't worry, we'll protect you. Lots of people love you; ignore that pervert!" North's fans voiced their displeasure.

Raven's smile vanished, replaced by his usual cold demeanor.

Another loud bang echoed on the screen, followed by fireworks. The new sender's request was polite: "Beautiful North, please wear a wedding dress. We haven't seen you in one before."

North was about to try on the dress, and the internet buzzed. Raven frowned, a cold frost appearing on his face. As long as she's paid, she'll do anything, right? he thought. Was a wedding dress just a random request? Could she be seen casually in a wedding dress?

Raven left the livestream and messaged his private secretary: "North's livestream is annoying. I've blocked it."

North considered trying on the wedding dress. Her assistant rushed in.

"What's going on? Why is the screen suddenly black?"

North knew immediately. It was Raven's doing.

"Something must have happened," North replied calmly. "The time's almost up. Let's end the livestream."

The assistant nodded. The livestream had been very profitable.

"Beautiful North, rest awhile. I'll have the backstage workers calculate our profits. The assistant will transfer it to your account."

North was satisfied. She'd sold all her goods and received many gifts.

The assistant brought desserts and milkshakes. Olive massaged North's leg and shoulders.

"North, you're so strong! I'm super impressed."

North held a white dress. She winked at Olive. "Olive, I left this for you."

Olive frowned and waved her hands. "What's this? I don't want it!"

North put the dress in a bag. "Mr. Augustine will."

Olive protested, "No way! Mr. Augustine isn't that kind of person!"

North shrugged and handed Olive the bag. "I want you to have it."

Olive started to protest, but her phone rang—Elvis.

"Mrs. Augustine, it's time to go home. I'll wait at the door," Elvis said.

"That's Mr. Augustine," North said to Olive. "You can go with him. I'll drive home later."

Olive, who'd planned to leave with North, nodded. "I'll go ahead. Bye, girl."

"Bye, Olly," North waved.

Olive tiptoed, searching for Elvis.

A deep voice sounded, "Mrs. Augustine, I'm here."

Olive turned. Elvis stood there, tall and handsome, smiling gently.

"Mr. Augustine," Olive exclaimed, jumping into his arms.

Elvis hugged her. "What's in the bag?"

"North gave me a dress," Olive blushed.

"What kind? Let me see."

Olive hesitated, but Elvis was quicker. He grabbed her hands, whispering, "Mrs. Augustine, wear it tonight, okay?"

Olive blushed, throwing the bag at his face.

Back at the hotel, North's assistant rushed in.

"Beautiful North, this is bad! Someone reported illegal cash transactions. Our account is restricted! We need to cooperate with an inspection!"

North's face darkened. She called Raven. He answered immediately. Without preamble, she angrily asked, "This is your doing, right?"

Raven's low voice was indifferent. "I just got home, North. Come over."
