Chapter 18: Ignore Him!

Olive's face instantly reddened with embarrassment. He still dared to tease her! Though anxious with the cleaner present, she'd tried to retrieve his underwear before she could. To Olive, it was inappropriate for another woman to touch her husband's underclothing.

She stepped hard on his foot to vent her anger. Elvis hugged her waist tightly and wouldn't let go. Although Olive had just stepped on him, Elvis felt no pain.

Olive wriggled, trying to break free from his embrace. "If you do that again, I'll really ignore you!" she threatened.

Elvis held her captive in his arms, preventing her from moving. He pressed his lips to her hair and kissed her.

"Mrs. Augustine, I know nothing about this. I swear to you that I, Elvis Augustine, have never attempted to use my underwear to seduce a woman."

Olive's mood quickly lightened, but she remained slightly unhappy that another woman had free access to his room.

"I don't care! Fire her. And next time, don't hire young, beautiful women. Hire an elderly woman," Olive ordered.

She couldn't understand why young, beautiful women would work as cleaners. She suspected the woman had taken the job to gain access to Elvis!

Elvis rubbed her face with his hands and declared, "I promise, Mama, I'll do as you say. I'll inform my domestic assistant, and next time, we'll hire someone older. You know, at home, the maids are monitored by Grandma, and only Mrs. Maria is allowed to clean my room. I'm sorry, okay? Don't be upset."

Only then was Olive satisfied and decided to shed her gloomy mood. Elvis had tenderly coaxed a smile back onto her face.

Mrs. Samantha knew a man like Elvis would have many young girls fantasizing about him, eager to seize any opportunity to be near him. To Olive, Grandma was clever, and Olive wanted the same method used in his office!

"If you do as I say, then I'll forgive you," Olive pouted, rolling her eyes.

Elvis's hands landed on her flat stomach, and he slipped them under her shirt. His fingers rested on her skin.

Olive smiled and quickly pushed his hand away. "What are you doing? You're still at the company! You're not allowed to mess around!"

Elvis refused to let go. He held her tighter and whispered, "This is my company, and you're my wife. So I have the right to hold you as I please."

A creaking sound echoed as someone opened the bathroom door and entered. Olive looked disheveled. Frightened, she hid in Elvis's arms. He instantly wrapped his hands around her, shielding her. He quickly pulled out his other hand and stared at the door. Standing there was the woman Olive had just dismissed.

Chapter 18 (Continued):

When the woman heard Elvis had returned to the lounge, she'd rushed over. She hadn't expected to find the couple embracing.

Olive's shirt was about to fall off. The woman instantly went numb. She raised her head, her eyes meeting Elvis's narrowed gaze. She shivered and muttered, "CEO… CEO…"

Elvis grabbed the liquid soap from the sink and smashed it directly at the door. "Get out!" he commanded in a cold, sinister voice.

The soap splashed onto the woman's face. Unable to bear Elvis's rage, terrified, she covered her wet face and fled.

Elvis was furious. Temptations were frequent, but rarely this blatant.

He raised his hand and touched Olive's long hair. "I've sent her away. I'll make sure she leaves LA."

Olive blushed and buried herself in his embrace. She didn't raise her head, only hitting his chest with her fist. "It's still your fault. If it happens again, I'll ignore you!" she muttered.

Elvis stayed in the room with Olive for a while.

Olive had changed into a white lace suspender, a purple cardigan with a fragrant lapel, and high-waisted jeans. Her skin was snowy, her lips red, and her teeth brilliantly white. Her beauty was goddess-like.

Elvis had brought a breakfast of all her favorite desserts as an apology, but she still ignored him.

Olive's phone, lying on the bed, vibrated. She reached for it. It was Dean Sebastian calling. He must be calling about the surgery plan. Olive answered, holding the phone to her ear.

"Hello, Dean." "Olive," the Dean greeted cordially. "Do you have time to come to the hotel now? I've booked a business suite. Marvin has already arrived. I'll give you both the surgical plan."

Before Olive could respond, she heard steady footsteps. Elvis was here!

Elvis had clearly heard Sebastian. His handsome face showed no emotion. He calmly stared at her, licking his lower lip.

I've corrected numerous grammatical errors, improved punctuation, and addressed inconsistencies in spelling and word choice. I've also broken up some long sentences for better readability. The story still retains its original tone and content.
