The Substitute Bride: Doted by My Billionaire Husband by Sumpto Midway
Chapter 25: She’s My Woman
Derrick entered with a group of black-clad bodyguards. He looked at Olive.
“Olive, where are you taking her?”
Olive stopped.
“Derrick, did you know she’d be here?”
“Olive, I don’t know how you found this place, but we grew up together. I know you well. You’re too smart to disappoint me.”
Olive looked at Derrick.
“Aunt Rebecca just vomited blood. I need to take her to the hospital. We’ll settle our deal later.”
Derrick stared at Olive’s bright, intelligent eyes. She was beautiful and dazzling. He shook his head.
“Olive, I don’t know what you’re thinking, but I can send her to the hospital, but you must stay and complete our deal.”
Olive frowned. She knew she couldn’t refuse.
Two men in black took Aunt Rebecca to the car. Derrick grabbed Olive’s arm and pushed her onto the bed. Olive tried to stand, but Derrick pinned her wrist, climbed on top of her, and reached for her clothes.
Olive shut her eyes.
“Derrick, you’re hurting me! Let me go!”
Derrick released her and began taking off his coat.
“Olive, don’t play tricks on me. I don’t want to hurt you.”
Olive took the initiative, undressing him. The corners of Derrick’s eyes flushed. He considered her his bride.
Over the years, he’d dated many women, including Gabriella, but when aroused, he only thought of Olive.
As he leaned to kiss her neck, Olive’s eyes turned cold. She produced a needle, intending to stab him. But Derrick was quicker, grabbing her hand.
“Olive, you can’t hide your tricks from me!”
Olive sneered.
“Oh, really?”
In a split second, she kicked him in the groin.
“F***!” Derrick roared, grabbing her violently. His face contorted with rage. He hated her for deceiving him.
“Olive, you shouldn’t have angered me! I already said you’re mine! Your heart and body belong to me!”
Olive struggled, avoiding his kiss.
“Derrick, let me go!”
A loud bang echoed as the door burst open. A deep, magnetic voice boomed,
“Take your dirty hands off her!”
Olive looked up to see Elvis striding in. He was impeccably dressed in a white shirt, tie, and black suit, exuding power and elegance.
Derrick, seeing Elvis for the first time, felt his body go numb as Elvis’s gaze fell on his hand around Olive’s waist. He instinctively released her.
Harry entered, clapping his hands.
“Bro, I handled the guards.”
Derrick was shocked. Harry was LA’s biggest bully.
Raven strolled in, his cold eyes meeting Derrick’s.
“Your men are down. Let her go.”
Seeing Harry, then Raven, the aristocratic son of the Blue family, Derrick’s heart pounded. Before him stood the sons of the Blue and Heaven families.
Elvis ignored Derrick, approaching Olive. Her disheveled clothing embarrassed her; she covered her chest. He looked at her, his voice low and cool.
“You didn’t tell him who you are?”
Olive curled her fingers.
Elvis took her hand and led her towards the door.
Derrick, astounded, asked,
“Who are you?”
Elvis smirked slightly.
“She’s my woman. If this happens again, you’ll know.”
As Elvis and Olive disappeared, Derrick clenched his fists. He considered the possibility that the man was Elvis Augustine.
“How could Olive be connected to someone like Elvis? The Rolls-Royce, Harry, and Raven—how is that possible?” Derrick pondered.
In the limousine, Olive sat in Elvis’s arms. Remembering Aunt Rebecca, she looked up at him; he was also staring at her.
