Chapter 86: Stay at My Place Tonight

Gwen held a three, Pamela an eight, and North a nine. Raven had to choose one to kiss.

“Damn it! Who are you going to choose, Sir Raven?” The others urged him.

Gwen’s excitement was palpable; she’d gotten a three. North, Raven’s younger sister, was out of the running. Pamela was currently interested in Elvis. Gwen believed Raven would choose her; her eyes shone as she looked at him shyly.

North tossed her card onto the table, smiling. “Bro, I’m your sister; ignore me. Choose between Pamela and Gwen.”

Raven looked at North, who smiled like the others. “Sir Raven, have you decided?”

Raven stood and walked over. Gwen saw Elvis approaching her, her heart quickening. Raven passed her and went to Pamela. Gwen’s face paled; she looked at Pamela jealously.

Pamela noticed Gwen’s gaze but was too focused on the tall figure before her to dwell on it. Though her current target was Elvis, she was also attracted to Raven. After Elvis had publicly humiliated her, accepting Raven’s attention would restore her standing among the socialites. Even without Elvis, she was satisfied with Raven.

“It seems my brother still likes Pamela. Gwen, aren’t you pitiful?” North whispered to Gwen.

Gwen, her earlier disdain replaced by a sharper expression, glared at North. Raven walked past Pamela without stopping. Pamela’s face went pale; Raven didn't want to kiss her. He was heading straight for North. She felt her palms sweat; she'd been rejected by two men today.

North watched as Raven approached. Before she could move, he was before her, propping himself on the table. He gently kissed her forehead. He had chosen North.

Pamela and Gwen watched as the handsome man in a black coat embraced the beautiful girl in a dominant posture. His kisses remained on her forehead, silent and hesitant. The scene was familiar. Even after all these years, Raven and North hadn't changed. He still protectively enveloped her, keeping her to himself.

North tried to push him away, but Raven released her and took her hand. “Everyone, the game's late; let’s go.”

Raven pulled North away; his stride was long, causing her to stumble. “What are you doing? Let me go!”

He dragged her out of the bar, opened the car door, and said, “Get in, or I’ll help you.”

Sensing his anger, North got into the passenger seat. Raven drove off. North looked at her reddened wrist; he’d pulled her hard. Realizing they weren't going to her apartment, she turned to him.

“Where are you taking me? I want to go home!”

Without looking at her, he said, “Olive drank that drink. I'm not convinced you didn't, either. You’re staying with me tonight.”

“I think you’re more dangerous than that drink,” North muttered.

Raven narrowed his eyes, looking at her face. “I couldn’t forget that night; I want to relive those memories.”

“Go away!” North yelled, her eyes red.

Raven remained silent, the atmosphere tense. “Where are you taking me? I want to go home! Park the car!” North pushed the passenger door. Raven had locked it.

“I’ll take you to my villa first,” Raven said quietly.

North calmed down and remained silent as he drove.

Banana Villa. This Domino family property reflected their long-standing dominance in real estate. Raven had lived there alone since moving out of the family mansion.

He led North inside, placing flip-flops at her feet. “Put them on.”

North refused. “I’m not wearing another woman’s shoes.”

Raven knelt, his fingers gripping her ankle, unfastening her heels. “North, they’re clean; no one else has worn them.”

As he held her foot, North recoiled as if shocked. She slipped into the flip-flops, cursing, “Pervert!”

Raven stood, removing his coat and throwing it on the sofa. He looked back at her. “Go upstairs and shower.”

North hurried upstairs. From above, her voice called down, “Bro, I borrowed your shirt.”
