Chapter 940: Never Fall in Love With Me

Mr. Randy remained unrelenting. Two days earlier, Mr. Domino had attempted to negotiate. Mr. Randy refused to take the case to court, but demanded North be given to him.

“Mr. Domino, did you agree?” North asked.

“Of course, I agreed, North. This whole matter started because of you, and you should handle it yourself,” Mr. Domino replied. North laughed. Mr. Randy’s pride had been wounded, but he still desired her.

North gazed out the window. “Sir, people actually think you’re my grandfather. If you let me go, wouldn’t that be shameful for you?”

“North, don’t you want to leave?”

“Of course not. The only difference between you and Mr. Randy is that one is infatuated, and the other is delusional. I won’t play this game with you. If there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up.” North feigned ending the call.

“North, are you really not going to help Raven?” Mr. Domino suddenly asked.

North paused, then smiled casually. “Raven is your grandson. You should trust him. When you see Mr. Randy again, say hello to him for me.” With that, North ended the call.

At the hospital, Mr. Randy lay in the VIP ward, nursing his severely injured pride. If the Domino family didn't give him what he wanted, he wouldn't let them go. At that moment, the ward door burst open, and his men rushed in.

“Boss…”

“What are you panicking about? Speak!” Mr. Randy reprimanded.

“Boss, Mr. Raven is here!”

“What?”

Mr. Randy leaped from the bed.

“Stop him! I don’t want to see him!” he half-shouted.

A low, amused voice came from outside the door. “Mr. Randy, I’m here. Why the closed doors?”

The door swung open, admitting a gust of cold air. Raven stood there, dressed in black, tall and handsome. His dark eyes fixed on Mr. Randy like a lion surveying its prey.

Mr. Randy’s bodyguards tried to stop Raven, but were quickly shoved aside by Raven’s own men. Mr. Randy trembled with rage. His expensive bodyguards were useless! They were like chickens before Raven.

Raven approached the bed. He removed his black leather glove and slapped Mr. Randy's face with it.

“President Randy. I heard you’re still in the hospital, so I brought you some supplements.”

Raven’s hand was strong. The slap angered Mr. Randy; he felt Raven was acting like a hooligan.

“Raven, get out! I don’t want to see you!” Mr. Randy ordered impatiently.

“Mr. Randy, don’t be angry. I brought you supplements. Don’t you want to know what?”

Raven’s private secretary presented several gift boxes. Raven shoved them into Mr. Randy’s arms. “Look, these are medicines to help with…impotency. Maybe these treatments will help.”

Mr. Randy’s arms overflowed with boxes; one fell to the floor. His face flushed with humiliation.

The private secretary brought a chair, and Raven sat down, tossing the glove to his secretary and smirking.

“President Randy, just take your supplements. My secretary will handle the reimbursement.”

Mr. Randy was furious. He glared at Raven, whose shaved face accentuated his handsome features. There was no guilt on his face, only a mocking smile. Mr. Randy felt like the most unfortunate victim in history. He flung the supplements to the ground. “Raven, don’t play games with me. As long as I don’t give up, this isn’t over! Apologize and beg for forgiveness!”

Raven narrowed his eyes and looked at the sunlight. “Mr. Randy, is it day or night?”

“It’s daytime!” Mr. Randy snapped.

“Oh,” Raven nodded. “You know it’s daytime, so why are you still dreaming? Stop daydreaming.”

Randy gasped. He realized Raven was mocking him.

Raven calmly looked at Mr. Randy. “Speaking of which, why did North seek you out that night?”

Mr. Randy froze, staring at Raven in disbelief.

Raven chuckled, a low, sultry laugh. “Mr. Randy,” Raven gazed at him intently, “You’re staring a bit much. Don’t fall in love with me. I only like women.”

Before Raven’s arrival, Mr. Randy had been wallowing in humiliation. Now, he was even more humiliated.
