Listen to this chapter:

Natalia's POV

After arriving at the hotel, I couldn't sleep at all that night. The dirty touches from those men haunted me whenever I closed my eyes. I tried to sleep, but my thoughts raced. He had really helped me that day, but because of him, my mind was a whirlwind.

The next day, Eric asked me to accompany him to a meeting. I refused; I had nothing to do with pack business. He went alone.

Meanwhile, I sat on my bed, thinking of calling my children. A maid answered.

"Why did you answer? Where are they?" I demanded. Noah and Aria always answered the phone.

The maid was silent. I frowned. "Why are you silent? Where are they?"

Her reply stopped my breath. "They haven't come back since morning. T-They're missing."

I leaped to my feet. "What are you saying? Where are they?"

"I-I don't know, Miss. Everyone's looking for them."

Fear consumed me; my knees trembled. "This can't be happening."

In a fit of rage, I pulled my hair. I decided to leave for my pack immediately. But a worry stopped me: Lynda might have done this.

Enraged, I grabbed my phone and began writing a post. People needed to know who this woman was. How dare she do this?

After finishing, I uploaded the post. I expected Lynda to contact me to have it deleted; that's when I'd confront her about my children. The post went viral.

I reread it:

"Don't judge a book by its cover. Lynda Jensen is a noble lady, soon to be the Crystal Blood Pack's Luna. But who was she before dating Adrian? She's a homewrecker. I was Adrian Miller's wife, and she was just another woman. She seduced my husband; she was married. She relentlessly pursued him until he divorced me. She's not a dignified woman; she's shameless. You decide what kind of woman she is."

Public opinion shifted. Pack members remembered me and that Alpha Adrian had been married, though he never made public appearances. They realized Lynda became his girlfriend shortly after I left the pack. Comments flooded my post:

"Lynda is such an evil woman!" "Lynda tried to seduce our Alpha while he was married!" "How can we accept her as our future Luna?" "She's a homewrecker! We should pray Alpha gets rid of her." "Natalia is strong. She didn't blame Alpha and left silently, but this woman provoked her." "I hope to see Beta Eric with Natalia; he's her fiancé."

There were too many comments to read, but I was pleased. That woman deserved it. I hadn't said anything untrue; I only exposed the truth.

I waited for Lynda's call, but instead, my father called.

"Dad? Do you know where Noah and Aria are?"

I immediately began questioning him.

"Calm down, Natalia."

"How can I calm down? My kids are missing! I think someone kidnapped them. It must be Lyn—"

"Listen. I heard you called. Aria wanted to see you, and you know how stubborn Noah is. They wanted to see you, so I sent them."

"You what?"

"Yes, they're coming to you. They're scheduled to land in two hours. It was a surprise; that's why I didn't tell you. Don't worry."

Relief washed over me. My children were safe.

"Dad, we're all returning to the Blue Blood Pack today."

"They're just going there."

"I don't want them to meet him. He's here, Dad. It's best we leave immediately."

"As you wish, my child."

I hung up and began packing. Luckily, it was the event's last day; I'd planned to leave after Eric's meeting tomorrow.

After the meeting, Eric came to my room. I told him everything. He agreed to leave today, packed his bags, and booked our tickets.

After lunch, we went straight to the airport. Eric reassured me, but I still worried. What if Adrian found out about my children?

Looking out the window, I thought, "The last thing I want is for them to meet Adrian."
