Chapter 1311

โ€œSince you have trouble recalling, Iโ€™ll let Mr. Zaythrone remind you,โ€ Lucian said, his disgust evident as he watched her tears. โ€œIf he gets anything wrong, youโ€™re welcome to correct him.โ€ He gestured to Cory, who cleared his throat.

โ€œMs. Pearson hired me to keep an eye on Ms. Jarvis,โ€ Cory began, but Aubree interrupted with a sudden lunge.

โ€œShut up! I donโ€™t know you! Youโ€™re a madman! I donโ€™t know what youโ€™re talking about! Go to hell!โ€

Despite the surprise, Coryโ€™s superior strength easily countered her attack. Pushing her away, he retorted, โ€œStop raving like a lunatic, you shrew!โ€

Aubree snarled from the ground, โ€œYouโ€™ll suffer divine retribution for this! Do you think the Farwells will let you off just because you snitched on me?โ€

Ignoring her, Cory turned to Lucian and Roxanne with a conciliatory air. โ€œMs. Jarvis, Iโ€™m sorry, but I was just doing my job. Aubree forced me. Other than taking a few pictures, I definitely didnโ€™t harm you.โ€

A look of dawning realization crossed Roxanneโ€™s face, a stark contrast to Aubreeโ€™s usual aloof composure. Conviction hardened her expression. Aubree deserves punishment for harming the children!

Roxanneโ€™s cold gaze settled on Cory. โ€œWhat did you capture with your camera?โ€

Surprised by her swift reaction, Cory replied, โ€œWhen you took the children camping, I saw Aubree put something into their cups. Also, I took those pictures of you and Mr. Damaris on her instructionsโ€ฆโ€

He detailed Aubreeโ€™s misdeeds amidst her continuous tirade. When he finished, she cried, โ€œI didnโ€™t! That wasnโ€™t my intention, Lucian, you have to believe me!โ€

Cory looked at her with disdain. Heโ€™d initially perceived her as someone capable, yet here she was, groveling at Lucianโ€™s feet.

He delivered the final blow. โ€œI have evidence of everything she did on my camera. As for the pictures with Mr. Damaris, I have additional shots from different angles. They clearly show Ms. Jarvis wasnโ€™t sharing an intimate moment with him.โ€

Aubreeโ€™s voice trailed off into sobs.

Lucianโ€™s contempt was palpable. โ€œWhat do you have to say for yourself?โ€

Seeing Lucian and Roxanne together, Aubreeโ€™s rage escalated. โ€œI didnโ€™t do anything! Roxanne framed me! Since Iโ€™ve lost everything, Iโ€™m going to drag her down with me!โ€ Her eyes burned with fury as she glared at Roxanne.
