Chapter 1569: They Did Not Need Tutoring
Roxanne felt uneasy when the children called them "Daddy" and "Mommy" in front of so many people. This was her first public display of her relationship with Lucian, before the kindergarten's parents and teachers. Regardless of their marital status, she was already considered part of the Farwell family. Before she knew it, the children had squeezed through the crowd and embraced their legs.
"Daddy! Mommy! Why did you both pick us up today?" Benny asked curiously.
Roxanne remained silent, turning to Lucian. "I finished work early, and your mommy didn't have overtime, so we came together. Anything wrong? Don't you like it?" he asked casually, as if they were a family of long standing.
"We love it!" the three children replied in unison.
"Mommy, could you and Daddy pick us up together every day?" Estella asked sweetly.
Roxanne wanted to explain that it depended on her schedule, but seeing Estella's hopeful expression, she relented. "All right. I'll try my best."
Pippa smiled, happy to see the harmonious family of five. Despite public opinion, Estella's improvement proved their suitability for each other.
Roxanne left with the children after bidding Pippa farewell.
"I've made preparations. We can start basic computer lessons once we get home," Lucian announced suddenly during the drive.
It took Roxanne a moment to realize he meant computer instruction. He'd even prepared in advance! She hadn't expected him to be so serious.
Seeing the pleading looks on Archie and Benny's faces, she realized they didn't want beginner lessons. She chuckled, telling Lucian, "Let's not rush. They just finished school; let them rest. Lessons can wait until the weekend."
Grateful for her intervention, Archie and Benny readily agreed. "We're tired, Daddy! We need a rest!"
Lucian, naturally, didn't push. "All right. Be ready for your classes on the weekend," he replied, nodding.
Archie and Benny dreaded the classes but nodded obediently. "Okay, Daddy! We'll be prepared!"
Estella, sitting nearby, noticed their reluctance but wisely refrained from questioning them.
Fearing further discussion about computers, the children retreated to their bedroom after dinner.
Noticing their aversion to the topic, Lucian mused, "Do they hate computers, or is it too early to teach them?"
Roxanne glanced towards the stairs; the children were gone. "They don't need you to teach them."
She turned back to Lucian. "Archie and Benny grew up in my mentor's research institute. They showed amazing talent in information technology at a young age, especially Benny. A colleague taught them computer skills, so Benny excels in this area."
