Chapter 1936: Return

Upon assuming his position, James's first decision was to launch a promotional campaign for Flora Verba Group's fourth-season product in collaboration with Snuggly. The campaign resulted in the sale of five hundred thousand units. To express their gratitude, the company gifted a Snuggly children's apparel item with each purchase. Simultaneously, Snuggly launched a reciprocal campaign, offering a Flora Verba Group product as a gift to customers meeting a spending threshold. This cross-promotion dramatically increased both companies' market values.

Next, James implemented his second strategy: he became the company's brand ambassador, appearing in advertisements. Sales far surpassed the initial five hundred thousand unit projection, forcing Flora Verba Group to increase production. Competitors reacted with alarm to the company's rapid rise.

Within days, numerous social media accounts launched coordinated attacks against Flora Verba Group, posting disparaging videos and advocating a boycott. James responded swiftly. The Public Relations Department addressed the misinformation, and the company cooperated with law enforcement to investigate the accounts' origins. The investigation revealed that the accounts' IP addresses were overseas, making identification of the perpetrators impossible. Despite this, the crisis was expertly managed, attracting a new wave of customers, including many men requesting products tailored to their needs.

Meanwhile, in the Farwell residence's living room, Roxanne lauded James's marketing acumen. Lucian, however, offered a more reserved assessment. "These are standard business tactics," he noted, "You're overreacting." Roxanne initially bristled at his comment, but considering Lucian's long-standing success, she reconsidered.

She pouted. "Fine. I doubt James will dare show off in front of you. Still, I'm thrilled with his work. Flora Verba Group is now valued at seventy billion! I don't even know how much money that is!" She added, "I must admit, you and your friends are all terrifying money-making machines."

Lucian responded, "You know, if you priced your medicine higher, your hospital and pharmaceutical company would be worth at least ten times Flora Verba Group!" He admitted to himself that he was understating the potential. The commercial value of Roxanne's research institute and pharmaceutical company far exceeded anything else, as businesses related to human life inherently possess immense earning potential.

"Really? As you know, I didn't create the medicine to make money," Roxanne replied.

Lucian simply nodded.

Their conversation continued until Cayden arrived with a work report for Lucian. Roxanne then withdrew to her study to resume her research.

"I've been tracking Christina's whereabouts, Mr. Farwell. I believe I've located her in Hawen. She may be attending an event in Chanaea with Mr. Goldstein in a week," Cayden reported, carefully observing Lucian's reaction.

Lucian frowned. "How dare she return so openly! It seems she found someone to support her. I certainly didn't expect Mr. Goldstein to be so accommodating," he muttered. "How do I swiftly deliver Christina the ending she deserves? If I don't, she'll continue to threaten my family."
