Chapter 1988: Respect Their Feelings

Lucian knelt before his three children, examining Archie and Benny's injuries. "Are you okay? Does it hurt? Tell me the truth." His eyes softened as he tousled their hair and hugged Estella.

Archie and Benny exchanged a glance and nodded. "Daddy, it hurts a little!"

"I see," Lucian smiled. "Then how do you feel? Do you feel angry?"

Benny replied immediately, "Yes! I'm infuriated!"

Archie nodded in agreement; they were furious.

Pouting, Estella added, "Daddy, I'm really mad too. I hate them for bullying Archie and Benny!"

Instead of immediate comfort, Lucian solemnly asked, "Then what would you like to do to feel better?"

The three children exchanged uncertain glances.

Roxanne, witnessing this, understood her husband's approach: guiding them to express their feelings and intentions. Growing up, they'd lacked consistent parental love but had always been well-protected. Consequently, adults had always resolved their problems; they'd never had the chance to make their own decisions.

Meanwhile, the other four children and their parents remained silent, save for Dave, who glared furiously at his son, anticipating the repercussions.

After a moment, Archie nodded resolutely. "Daddy, I think I know what I want!"

Benny followed, "Me too. I'm really mad. What right do they have to bully us? I won't let this slide!"

Estella, blinking back tears, turned to Roxanne. "Mommy, I hate them! I don't ever want to see them again!"

Lucian and Roxanne exchanged knowing glances. Lucian then addressed the silent parents.

"We'll give as good as we get," he announced calmly. "Since your children pushed my sons, my sons will retaliate."

The parents inwardly breathed a sigh of relief; a childish punishment would be harmless. However, Roxanne added, "You heard my daughter. I'll do whatever it takes to ensure these four kids are expelled from this school!"

The parents froze. A brief moment of silent contemplation passed before a collective resignation settled. They knew their children didn't deserve to be here. As long as their jobs weren't affected, they would accept the consequences.

Dave's expression, however, changed drastically. This incident threatened his position.

Under Lucian and Roxanne's watchful gaze, Zaron and the other three children stood, seemingly unconcerned. They underestimated Archie and Benny's strength.

But the twins, gaining momentum, charged forward, knocking two children to the ground with cries of pain.

Zaron and the remaining child were terrified. They were unaware that Archie and Benny possessed basic combat skills learned from their bodyguard.

Exchanging grins, the twins, ignoring their injured knees, prepared for another attack. Archie targeted Zaron, sprinting forward and colliding with him with surprising force. A dull thud echoed as Zaron fell face-first, his nose bleeding, as he struggled to rise.
