Chapter 2032: How Crazy Was It?
At the break of dawn, smart curtains opened automatically, bathing the room in morning sunlight. Jonathan gazed intently at the sleeping figure beside him. Her delicate nose, full lips, and fluttering eyelashes were captivating. He hadn't anticipated the night's events.
He was still showering when the bathroom door burst open. He couldn't tell if Madilyn was conscious or drunk, but escape was impossible. Her sudden presence ignited his lust. Amidst the sound of running water, their bodies intertwined for what felt like an eternity.
Fully awake, the events of a few hours earlier were seared into his memory, sparking a renewed desire. Madilyn was already awake, wondering if the previous night was a dream. Her sleeping robe confirmed it wasn't. She'd been in pajamas when she left her mother's room, meaning her robe must have been discarded on the bathroom floor. She'd slept with him while drunk.
A cheeky smile crossed her face, quickly replaced by overwhelming embarrassment. She felt Jonathan's breath beside her ear, his warmth against her body. Despite her overwhelming lust, she desperately needed to suppress it. "I cannot embarrass myself again!"
Fortunately, Jonathan leaned in to kiss her, providing the perfect excuse. Closing her eyes, she reciprocated. He'd planned to wait, but Madilyn had thwarted his intentions. After his first taste, he lost control. Taking her response as encouragement, he pulled her close. A passionate encounter ensued.
By the time they awoke, it was nearly noon. "Maddy, Jonathan, are you both awake?" Lorraine's voice called from outside the door.
Simultaneously realizing their predicament, they leaped out of bed and dressed quickly. "I'll get the door; you pretend to be asleep," Madilyn whispered.
"No, it's more natural if I go. You're known for sleeping in," Jonathan countered. They exchanged amused glances. Adulthood meant no need for secrecy. They opened the door together.
Their slightly awkward expressions and the evidence of their extended morning amusement brought a knowing smile to Lorraine's face. She kept her thoughts to herself, simply suggesting, "I found a good local restaurant. Let's go."
"Sure, Madam Xander!" Jonathan agreed, nodding.
Madilyn whirled around, eyes widening in shock. She quickly shielded his neck, covered in hickeys. "Oh my God! I must have gone wild last night!"
Jonathan hadn't noticed until he saw himself in the mirror while washing. Seeing the marks she'd left, he gave her a sidelong glance, eliciting a panicked reaction he found utterly adorable.
