"Ms. Jarvis" Roxanne quickly vanished from sight. Estella hung her head sadly, her voice shaking as she muttered, "I want Ms. Jarvis"

Lucian, still angry about Roxanne's words, frowned when he heard Estella was determined to find her. "Ms. Jarvis has her own children. You can't keep disturbing her." Estella glared at him, and he met her gaze with a frown. Both wore adamant expressions.

Estella, unable to defy her father, lowered her head angrily after a prolonged glare. "Fine. I won't go, then. We're in the same room anyway. Ms. Jarvis will definitely come back to pack her things."

Recollecting herself, she said, "I want to return to my room."

Lucian, unaware of her intentions, assumed she was uncomfortable in the crowded space without Roxanne. He readily agreed.

Meanwhile, Aubree had an idea. Before Lucian could speak, she squatted, patted Estella's head, and asked, "Are you feeling unwell, Essie? Why do you suddenly want to return to your room?" Estella pursed her lips, refusing to answer.

Aubree took her silence as assent. Standing, she said to Lucian, "Since Essie's feeling unwell, I shouldn't leave. Why don't I go back with you both? I can take care of her."

Lucian glanced at her. Recalling Roxanne's distant demeanor whenever Aubree was mentioned, a cold look flashed in his eyes. "It's okay. I can take care of Essie. It's getting late. You should go home."

Expecting his refusal, Aubree had a backup plan. Smiling, she said, "Essie is unwell. Mrs. Farwell will worry if she finds out. She'll be mad if I return without staying to help. Besides, I feel bad about treating Essie badly. I never apologized properly. Please, let me stay today to make amends."

Lucian furrowed his eyebrows, silent.

"I'll feel bad if I can't make it up to Essie," Aubree said, feigning guilt in her tone and posture.

Estella, only wanting to wait for Roxanne, urged, "Daddy, let's go back!"

Thinking Estella was very unwell, Lucian ignored Aubree, picked Estella up, and headed for the botanical garden exit.

Aubree, unfazed by his silence, followed them.

After informing Pippa, Lucian took Estella back to the hotel, unconcerned about Aubree trailing behind.

At the hotel, Lucian put Estella on the bed and decided to call James for advice. [The promotional text "Sแด‡aส€*แด„h the FindNรธvแด‡l.nแด‡t website on Gรธรธglแด‡ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality." has been removed as it is irrelevant to the story and promotional.]

To his surprise, Estella hopped off the bed and ran to Roxanne's room.

Lucian, stunned, finally understood Estella's true intentions. "Here I was thinking Estella was sick. Who knew this kid just wanted to wait for Roxanne and the boys?"

Estella, calmer now, sat on Roxanne's bed, her eyes gleaming with excitement at the prospect of Roxanne and the boys' return.
