"Let's take this one," Lucian said, seeking Roxanne's opinion.

Roxanne hesitated, her eyes betraying her apprehension. Their inability to secure another room was largely due to her, yet the prospect of sharing a room with Lucian was unsettling. "Or we could come back next week?" she suggested tentatively.

"Your vouchers expire soon," Roxanne's eyes trembled. "If you don't use them this week, they'll be voided."

Just then, Estella tugged at Roxanne's dress. "Ms. Jarvis..." she said expectantly.

Roxanne's heart wavered. Archie and Benny, though eager to play with Estella, sensed Roxanne's discomfort and remained quietly observant.

Lucian, noticing her hesitation, frowned. "I asked for a presidential suite—it's a duplex. There are rooms upstairs and downstairs. We can stay separately if you prefer." He glanced down at Estella.

Estella understood immediately, nodding vigorously. "We'll sleep upstairs, and Daddy will sleep downstairs!"

The staff added, "Our presidential suite is well soundproofed. It's like having separate rooms. Your vouchers cover the accommodation, so it's free. I highly recommend it."

Roxanne, after considering their words, reluctantly agreed. Archie and Benny exchanged uncertain glances, while Estella's eyes gleamed with excitement as she looked at Lucian. He patted her head and instructed the staff to process their check-in.

After checking in and entering the elevator, the front desk staff visibly relaxed, wiping away perspiration. She had recognized Lucian as the hotel owner—Farwell Group's ownership was well-known amongst the staff. Lucian had subtly instructed her to inform Roxanne that only the presidential suite remained. He clearly wanted to persuade Roxanne to stay with him, and she'd merely facilitated that. Relief washed over her as Roxanne ultimately agreed.

Lucian led Roxanne and the children to their room. The top-floor presidential suite, directly facing the elevator, exuded luxury. Even the children, accustomed to a certain level of opulence, were awestruck as they entered. The grand décor and floor-to-ceiling window offering a breathtaking mountain view filled the suite. Roxanne watched their backs, the heartwarming scene instilling an unexpected sense of calm.
