Roxanne, not a strong swimmer, participated just enough to entertain the children. Under the crew's guidance, she resurfaced, showered quickly, and changed into her own clothes before exiting.

Lucian and the children awaited her outside the changing room. At the sight of her, they excitedly jumped on her, exclaiming, "You looked so nice just now, Mommy!" Estella gazed intently at Roxanne.

Roxanne smiled and patted their heads. "Thank you, darlings."

"You looked lovely indeed," Lucian murmured beside her.

Roxanne, surprisedโ€”she'd almost forgotten himโ€”was momentarily speechless. Fortunately, Lucian didn't expect a reply. "Take care of the kids. I need to step away for a moment."

Roxanne nodded, regaining her composure. Lucian left after she granted her tacit consent. A hint of suspicion clouded her eyes as she watched him go, wondering about his errand.

He returned only after she took the children back to the marine park. Darkness had fallen, and the children were hungry. Remembering a restaurant mentioned in a park brochure, Roxanne took them there.

A waiter approached immediately. Seeing them together, he assumed they were a family. "Welcome. We have a family suite available. Please follow me." Roxanne was astonished. A family suite? He was clearly mistaken.

They were already outside the suite. Roxanne decided against a potentially awkward explanation and remained silent.

The elegant suite, decorated in the style of the marine park, included children's toys. The children immediately gravitated to them, leaving the adults alone. After a quick safety check, Roxanne left them to play while she and Lucian ordered food.

Their food arrived shortly, and the children returned to their seats.

"Family vacation?" the waiter asked, lingering, and enthusiastically offering recommendations. "There's a fireworks display tonightโ€”you should see it!"

Roxanne was about to correct him when the children's excited cheers interrupted. "Fireworks, Mommy! We have to see it!" Benny tugged her sleeve, his eyes shining.

Roxanne swallowed her explanation.

"Your children are adorable," the waiter beamed. "The fireworks will be perfect for you all!"

Estella looked pleadingly at Lucian, who nodded slightly. "Thank you. We'll consider it." His response felt like an admission of familial connection.

Roxanne frowned, beginning to speak, but the waiter left.

"Come on, Mommy! Let's see it!" Archie begged.

Roxanne's initial silence, born of the waiter's mistake, had morphed into acquiescence to her children's plea.
