The heads of the Great Four—Hector (Xaviers), Melvin (Frasers), Kelvin (Wilsons), and Drake (Zimmermans)—along with numerous underworld figures, gathered in a villa. Their expressions were grave.
Besides the four leaders, many others were present. One, a slightly chubby man in his fifties, wore a white vest, a gold necklace, and a parrot perched on his shoulder; he played with a luminous white pearl.
"What should we do now, Dawson?" Hector asked, glancing at the man with the pearl—Peter Dawson.
Dawson looked at Greg ("Nine Fingers"), a ferocious-looking man with a long scar and a missing finger. "What do you think, Greg?"
"What is there to be afraid of?" Greg scoffed.
"You don't understand the seriousness of this," Hector said. "My brother was killed, and the Xaviers are banned from leaving Cansington. Is Rowena still refusing to name the killer?"
"The Blithe King supposedly dealt with the ghost-masked man. Why are these rumors still circulating? Does he have accomplices?" Kelvin frowned.
Greg said furiously, "I'll bring five thousand men to the Cadens' cemetery in eight days. Let's see what this Cadens survivor can do."
Peter nodded. "I agree. I'll bring many men as well."
Many underworld figures, paid and employed by the Great Four, pledged their support.
"Dawson, Nine Fingers, we stand with you. I'll send one hundred well-trained men!" one declared. Others added, "A dozen from me!" and "Three hundred!"
The three heads of the Great Four were relieved, but Hector remained worried. Rowena's fear unnerved him; leading his family to the Cadens' cemetery to commit suicide was unthinkable. He had no choice but to fight.
Kelvin said indifferently, "The sole Cadens survivor We'll go to the Cadens' cemetery in eight days, and if he appears, we'll bury him and his family."
Drake added, "I'll keep my word. After this, the Zimmermans will reward everyone with thirty percent of our shares." Melvin agreed, promising the same from the Wilsons. Laughter erupted.
Henry, however, reported the Great Four's secret gathering.

Henry relayed the meeting's details. James slammed his fist on the table, shattering it. Scarlett trembled.
"James," she said, "the Great Four, Dawson, and Nine Fingers are suicidal. At least ten thousand will gather at the Cadens' cemetery. Should we act preemptively?"
