The transfer process was smooth. Trevor had asked his secretary to draft a transfer contract while James logged into his online banking and instantly transferred 100 million to Trevor's personal account. Simultaneously, James transferred another 100 million to the company account as capital funds. After the transfer, they signed the agreement.

Trevor seemed to age instantly. He looked at Thea and patted her shoulder. "Thea," he said, "I'm leaving Pacific Group in your hands. I wasn't able to bring it to greater heights, but I hope you can lead it to glory."

"Don't worry, Granduncle," Thea vowed. "I'll definitely lead Pacific Group to glory."

Suddenly, Larry remembered something and turned to Thea. "The company employees are rioting at the factory," he said. "They've arrived with a dozen trucks and are threatening to sell the factory's equipment if they don't receive their wages today."

"What?" Thea's expression changed. She had spent 100 million dollars on the Pacific Group factory, including its equipment and employees. Losing the equipment would render that investment useless. "Let's go," she said. "Let's go to the factory now."

They immediately left for the Pacific Manufacturing Factory. A dozen large trucks and hundreds of employees were gathered at the gate. Their leader, a slightly chubby man in his 40s, shouted at Quinton, a man in his 20s, "Quinton, move! Open the gates!"

The employees shouted, "Hurry up! Why are you stopping us from selling the equipment if you're not going to pay us? What's the use of keeping it? Are you guys still thinking of making a comeback? It's pointless to leave it if you're not getting new orders!"

Quinton, Larry's son and the warehouse supervisor, tried to reason with them. "Mr. Wright," he said to the deputy director, "you've been a long-time employee. Instead of helping us get through this, you're trying to drag us down. Taking the equipment will prevent Pacific Group from ever making a comeback!"

Wright, however, continued to incite the employees. "Believe me," he said, "Pacific Group is more than ten million dollars in debt. The equipment will be sold to someone else if we don't take it now. Who will pay us when they go bankrupt?"

Wright added, "Listen, everyone! I've found a better factory with a higher-paying position as deputy director. I'll bring anyone who's willing with me!"

The crowd yelled, "Yeah! This is a lousy factory! Why would we stay? Beat up Quinton if he tries to stop us!" They grabbed Quinton's key and forcibly opened the gates.

Trevor, Thea, and James arrived. Seeing the commotion, Trevor rushed over and shouted, "Are there no rules here?!"

The rioting employees calmed down. Quill, speaking for them, said in a gloomy voice, "We haven't been paid for months and need to support our families. There's not a penny left in the company account, and the company is ten million dollars in debt. We can't wait until the equipment is sold!"

Other employees added their voices: "My wife is about to give birth!" "I've worked here for five years, and my mother is seriously ill!"

Trevor sighed.
