Listen to this chapter:

Henry and James drove Henry's modified Tesla away from Nine Dragon Street.

"Where are we going, James?"

"The urban area—a place called Great Dignity on Mount Street."

"Okay," Henry replied, concentrating on driving. "Actually, Michelle seems like a decent person. I read her background information; she graduated from a prestigious university and manages a large company, earning about thirty thousand dollars a month. Understandably, she has high standards for a partner," Henry explained.

"Is this the Michelle who called you 'broke-ass'?" James asked, glancing at Henry.

"Yeah, Michelle Yeager," Henry nodded.

"Forget her. I'll have Scarlett introduce you to someone better. And hey, you could work at Transgenerational Group if you want. You could be a vice president in title—it would definitely help you meet women. No, women would meet you!" James chuckled.

"Forget it," Henry immediately refused. "I'm not cut out to be a vice president."

"It's just a title. You'd just oversee some work. Plus, I hear there are plenty of beautiful women in the entertainment industry. How about buying an entertainment company with lots of gorgeous celebrities? You still have a hundred million in the bank. It's all settled then."

Henry smiled but said nothing. He thought James had a point. He was at an age where starting a family and business made sense. He’d only been messing around, downloading a dating app for fun. He’d never seriously considered actively pursuing women.

Soon, they arrived at Great Dignity. Henry parked, and they walked to the entrance, observing the security guards and the elegantly dressed women entering and leaving. Henry felt unexpectedly nervous. He was the general of the Southern Plains, accustomed to chaos, yet here he was, apprehensive.

"Maybe we should forget this, James," Henry suggested.

"We're already here. Let's just look around. We're not hurting for money. Consider it reconnaissance. We'll be back on the battlefield if the higher-ups issue an emergency declaration."

"Yo, James?"

A voice startled them. Henry turned and his expression changed drastically. It was Michelle, his recent blind date. She'd changed clothes and was already at Great Dignity. She looked entirely different from their date. Her previous dress, though elegant, was conservative; this outfit was incredibly revealing.

Approaching Henry, she sneered, "What happened? My words stung you, so you're slumming it at Great Dignity? This is a members-only club. You can't get in without a membership…" She scrutinized him. "That whole outfit isn't worth a hundred dollars…" Pointing to the sign, she scoffed, "See those gold-inlaid letters? Minimum spending here is one hundred and eighty thousand dollars per visit."

Henry was surprised. He remembered her profile stating she was a high-level manager. "Do you work here, Michelle?"

"Yeah, part-time. Problem?" Michelle showed no embarrassment. "I am a manager, and there's nothing wrong with a part-time job. Know how much I charge for my services? Thirty-eight thousand. Rich enough to spend a few hundred thousand on me? I'll keep you company for some drinks then." Her mockery continued. "But you're broke, right? So get lost."

She turned and walked into Great Dignity, swaying her hips. James, suppressing his laughter, finally burst out. "Henry, you… I don't know what to say! A manager? I'm dying!"

Henry flushed. "Enough. Let's go home, James."
