I moved to the left just in time to avoid colliding with that steroid-looking guy. He looked noticeably out of place dancing in a club. The club was fairly full, understandable considering it was a Friday night.

"Are we doing shots, or are we doing shots?!" Rey asked over her shoulder, guiding us both towards the bar.

"Only one round," I stated when we reached the counter. In response, she hummed in a tone that clearly indicated she'd discarded the idea. This was Rey—utterly impulsive and an avid partygoer. She was unapologetically herself.

She was busy flirting with the bartender, and by the looks of it, the guy was enjoying her advances. I sighed before roaming my gaze over the place. Then my eyes stopped at a distinctly familiar face. I blinked to make sure it wasn't my imagination.

Only for my eyes to fall on another woman—a brunette. She was beautiful.

And she was here with Aiden.
