Chapter 192

โ€œAll right, I agree.โ€

Hearing this, Freya spun around, hardly believing her ears. It seemed unthinkable that Kieran would return at this moment. As she turned, she accidentally bumped into Kieranโ€™s embrace. The badge on Kieranโ€™s chest shoved against Freyaโ€™s nose and it hurt. She stepped back and said, โ€œMr. Sutton, you said yes to my requests?โ€

Kieran wasnโ€™t known for being easilyโ€ฆ swayed. He replied coldly, โ€œWhatโ€™s the problem? You seem less thrilled now that Iโ€™ve agreed.โ€

โ€œOf course, Iโ€™m happy youโ€™ve agreed.โ€ Quick as a flash, as if fearing Kieran might change his mind, she turned to Jarrett. โ€œJarrett, Mr. Sutton has agreed. Could you please take care of the arrangements?โ€

โ€œCertainly, Ms. Dawson.โ€ Jarrett immediately went to prepare Freyaโ€™s room.

Freya turned to Kieran and said, โ€œMr. Sutton, if thereโ€™s nothing else, Iโ€™ll head up to rest.โ€

โ€œWait.โ€ Kieran suddenly caught Freyaโ€™s arm.

Freya frowned, glancing at the hand on her arm, briefly fantasizing about chopping it off. โ€œMr. Sutton, is there something else?โ€

โ€œWhere are the flowers that I gave you?โ€

When Kieran suddenly mentioned the roses, Freya responded, โ€œWell, Mr. Sutton, I felt those flowers didnโ€™t suit me, so I left them at the Dawson family home.โ€

Kieran asked, โ€œLeft at the Dawson family home, or threw them away?โ€

Freya politely assured, โ€œOf course, I left them at the Dawson family home.โ€

The flowers were in the Dawson familyโ€™s trash bin, but technically still at the Dawson family home. Happy with the solid answer from Freya, Kieran dropped the subject. Little did he know, Freya had chucked the roses into the Dawson familyโ€™s compost bin when she left.

Freya added, โ€œIf thereโ€™s nothing else, Mr. Sutton, Iโ€™ll go up to rest.โ€

โ€œWait!โ€

Seeing Kieran had more to say, Freya rolled her eyes. What now?

Turning back, she said, โ€œMr. Sutton, if you have anything else, please say it all now. Iโ€™m exhausted.โ€

Kieran asked again, โ€œWhy choose the room furthest away?โ€

Freya had previously stayed in a guest room near Kieranโ€™s at the Sutton Mansion, close to him. Given Freyaโ€™s feelings for him, youโ€™d think sheโ€™d be thrilled about the roomโ€™s location. Of course, Kieran didnโ€™t know Freya wanted to keep her distance, preferring to walk further to the room at the end.

Freya smiled. โ€œBecause that room is a bit larger, and I prefer spacious rooms.โ€

It was a flimsy excuse at best.

Kieran frowned. โ€œYou could always stay in mine if you think the room is too small.โ€ Kieran thought his offer would thrill Freya to no end.
