Chapter 344

โ€œWhereโ€™s Freya? Tell her to get out here now!โ€ Jenny stormed through the classroom, her eyes scanning for Freya, but she was nowhere to be found.

At that moment, Luna stood up and said, โ€œHi, weโ€™re in the middle of a lesson. Whatโ€™s with the commotion?โ€

โ€œYou think Iโ€™m causing a scene? Luna, donโ€™t act like you donโ€™t know whatโ€™s going on. I know youโ€™re Freyaโ€™s best friend! And with your family owning that major news outlet, you mustโ€™ve been snooping around for dirt on me to help her out. How could you guys be so heartless!โ€

As Jenny moved to grab Lunaโ€™s hair, the teacher, who had been trying to maintain control, finally lost it and slammed a book down on the desk. The room fell into a sudden silence.

โ€œWhich class are you from? Who allowed you to disrupt my lesson like this? Get out, now!โ€ the teacher bellowed.

Still fuming but stunned by the teacherโ€™s fury, Jenny shot Luna a venomous look before storming out of the classroom.

โ€œServes her right!โ€ Luna was aware Jenny had been bullying Freya for some time. Now that Jennyโ€™s shady past was the hot topic online, Luna felt justice had been served. She thought, โ€˜If you donโ€™t want your misdeeds to be known, donโ€™t commit them in the first place. People like Jenny deserved to get their comeuppance!โ€™

Outside the classroom, a crowd had gathered, all eager to see Jennyโ€™s downfall. Jenny had bullied many school juniors, and seeing her humiliated brought them a sense of vindication.

โ€œWhat are you looking at? Scram!โ€ Jenny was past caring about her image. She was determined to wait for Freya and teach her a lesson. Sure enough, Freya appeared from the schoolโ€™s elevator soon after.

Blinded by rage and not noticing who else was with Freya, Jenny charged forward and slapped her across the face. The slap echoed, and Freya took it without a word, causing an intake of breath from the onlookers. Silence enveloped the crowd for a long moment.

Feeling a sense of twisted satisfaction, Jenny sneered, โ€œYou think you can get me expelled? My dadโ€™s on the school board. You canโ€™t touch me!โ€

โ€œJenny! What have you done?โ€ A deep, stern voice cut through the air, freezing Jenny in her tracks.

โ€œDad?โ€

Besides Jennyโ€™s father stood several men in suits, all exuding an aura of power and authority. They were unmistakably business tycoons. Jenny quickly recognized many faces in the crowd as the schoolโ€™s investors, senior leaders from Summit University, and even officials from the education department. The principal was there too, and none of them looked pleased.

Jenny was suddenly at a loss. What was happening?

โ€œToday was supposed to be an inspection day. What are you doing causing such a scene?โ€

Jennyโ€™s father stepped forward, his grip firm on her arm, as confusion swirled in Jennyโ€™s mind.
