Chapter 391

โ€œWhy would you go after Ellie like that? Did you really have to take it so far?โ€

Facing Kieranโ€™s accusation, Freya replied coolly, โ€œKieran, donโ€™t you think your bias is showing just a tad too much? Or is your Ellie somehow not cruel to me? She tore up my paper, resulting in a zero for me. Your Ellie didnโ€™t want me to graduate. I simply reported her actions. Is that not allowed?โ€

โ€œYouโ€ฆ.โ€

โ€œBy the look on Mr. Suttonโ€™s face, you mustโ€™ve known all along what Eloise has been doing to me, right? Yet, you did nothing to stop her, choosing instead to come after me. And here I thought Mr. Sutton was all about justice, regardless of whoโ€™s involved.โ€

Freya had always known that when it came to anything involving Eloise, Kieran would undoubtedly take her side, no matter what Eloise had done.

โ€œBut what can you do? Mr. Sutton, youโ€™re a bit late to the party, and the damage is done. If you truly canโ€™t stand the thought of your Ellie facing expulsion, then youโ€™d better come up with a solution yourself.โ€

Freya walked past Kieran without another word.

Jarrett initially wanted to stop Freya but was halted by Kieran: โ€œLet her go!โ€

โ€œBut Mr. Suttonโ€ฆโ€

Jarrett was at a loss.

Their Mr. Sutton had come specifically to deal with Eloiseโ€™s situation, even intending to have the principal correct the injustice done to Freyaโ€™s grades. Ms. Dawson had misunderstood, so why didnโ€™t Mr. Sutton let him explain?

โ€œMr. Sutton, Ms. Dawson has brought in the Department of Education, and Iโ€™m backed into a corner! My job is on the line, and Iโ€™m hoping you can help me find a way out!โ€

The principal was desperate, almost clinging to Kieran for a lifeline. But Kieranโ€™s mind was elsewhere. Suddenly, he grabbed the principal by the collar and said, โ€œYou had already looked at Freyaโ€™s paper beforehand, didnโ€™t you know her failing grade was a setup? Who gave you the right to blatantly favor Eloise like this?โ€

โ€œTโ€ฆLโ€ฆโ€

The principal, seeing Kieranโ€™s anger, was at a loss for words. And who else was to blame for his unconditional favoritism towards Eloise? Wasnโ€™t it Kieran himself?

โ€œMr. Sutton, I admit my mistake, but Iโ€™m at my witโ€™s end here, Mr. Sutton!โ€ Before the principal could finish, Kieran turned and walked away. Jarrett followed closely behind. The principal was left completely isolated.

It was their mistake, yet in the end, he was the one to bear the responsibility? The principal was on the verge of tears, regretting his actions, but it was too late to turn back.

Meanwhile, Eloise and the student council members had already been brought to the deanโ€™s office.
