“By the look on Mr. Sutton’s face, you must’ve known all along what Eloise has been doing to me, right? Yet, you did nothing to stop her, choosing instead to come after me. And here I thought Mr. Sutton was all about justice, regardless of who’s involved.”

Freya had always known that when it came to anything involving Eloise, Kieran would undoubtedly take her side, no matter what Eloise had done.

“But what can you do? Mr. Sutton, you’re a bit late to the party, and the damage is done. If you truly can’t stand the thought of your Ellie facing expulsion, then you’d better come up with a solution yourself.”

Freya walked past Kieran without another word.
