Chapter 411

Charlie Wade took the elevator to the 18th floor. He found Jasmine and explained his assessment of the club's Feng Shui. Jasmine was disappointed to hear it was unremarkable. She'd clearly hired an ineffective Feng Shui master. Anxiously, she asked, "Master Wade, do you have any suggestions for improving the club's atmosphere?"

Charlie Wade smiled faintly. "Plant two evergreen trees on the first floor, one in the southeast corner and one in the northwest, facing each other. Place two gold foils under the stone lions."

Jasmine reflexively asked, "May I know the reasoning behind this arrangement?"

Charlie Wade smoothly explained, "The pairing of lions is a Feng Shui symbol of prosperity, with the lions as the primary elements and the evergreens as a complement. Combined with the gold foil and the club's existing structure, this arrangement will significantly enhance the club's fortune."

Jasmine was astonished. She'd never heard of this technique, and she was impressed by Charlie Wade's remarkable abilities. As her grandfather had said, Master Wade truly was extraordinary!

Gratefully, she said, "Thank you, Master Wade! I'll have my people do this immediately!"

Charlie Wade checked his watch. It was almost time to go home and prepare dinner. Before leaving, he said, "Remember to arrange this quickly. It's getting late; I have to go."

"I'll see you off," Jasmine offered.

"No thanks," Charlie Wade replied. "I'm meeting Oscar on the second floor. I saw him on my way up."

"But I can't let you—"

"Alright then. Take your car and wait for me outside the main entrance on the first floor. I'll stop by to say hello, and then we'll go."

"Okay, Master Wade. I'll wait in the car."

Charlie Wade didn't actually plan to meet Oscar; he wanted to check on Wendy and Jeffrey. He found them in the second-floor restroom, having just finished licking the second urinal. Their faces were pale, and the floor was covered in vomit. Oscar greeted him, "Hi, Master Wade!"

Charlie Wade frowned. "What's this? Only the second one? Aren't they a little slow?"

"Master Wade, they've almost finished"

Charlie Wade said coldly, "Give them an hour. If they haven't finished licking all the urinals within an hour, they'll lick the third floor's restrooms too!"

"Yes, sir!" Oscar replied, then yelled to Wendy and Jeffrey, "Did you hear him? Hurry up! Or there will be eight more urinals waiting!"

Wendy and Jeffrey trembled. Wendy spat out some bile but continued licking. Charlie Wade momentarily questioned if he was being too harsh on Wendy.

Chapter 412

But then he thought again: no, she deserved it. Wendy was malicious, even attempting to steal from him. If not for his connections and abilities, she would have succeeded in harming him. This was simply a lesson she wouldn't forget.

Charlie Wade told Oscar, "I'm leaving now. Miss Moore is waiting downstairs. Keep a close eye on them. If I find out you've let them off easy, I'll deal with you."

Oscar bowed deeply. "Don't worry, Master Wade, I'll keep an eye on them! I won't let them off the hook!"

"Okay," Charlie Wade nodded and left.

Wendy and Jeffrey frantically licked the remaining urinals. Their tongues were raw, and the smell was unbearable. They longed to rinse their mouths, but Oscar refused for fear of Charlie Wade's wrath. He had his men kick them out of the club.

They scrubbed themselves, feeling utterly humiliated. Wendy wept, still smelling the foul odor and barely controlling her rage from her earlier confrontation with Claire Wilson. Jeffrey felt equally degraded.

"What's Charlie Wade's story?!" Jeffrey demanded of Wendy.

"He's a loser! He lost his parents at eight, grew up in an orphanage, and married into our family as a son-in-law! He's just a nobody!"

"Your mouth stinks!" Jeffrey exclaimed, recoiling from her.

Wendy retorted mentally, You smell too!, but kept silent, moving away.

Jeffrey continued, "Why are Oscar and Miss Moore so deferential to this bastard? I even punished him for breaking a plate once!"

Wendy sighed. "I don't know why this loser has become so powerful. Everyone calls him 'Master Wade.' People who try to disrespect him end up humiliatedEven a man who once boasted of his sexual prowess became impotent after a confrontation with him. We don't know how he did it…"

"I need revenge!" Jeffrey gritted his teeth. "I need to talk to Kenneth about our plans!"

Chapter 413

Jasmine drove Charlie Wade to the grocery store in her Rolls-Royce. As he got out, he said, "Thanks for the ride. Bye."

Jasmine nodded, her expression complex. "Farewell, Master Wade. You're always welcome at Glorious Club. I'll be here to personally serve you whenever you come."

Charlie Wade smiled gently. "Okay, I'll come by when I'm free. Bye."

Jasmine watched him disappear into the store, sighing. She felt a deep sense of injustice. This extraordinary man was hurrying to buy groceries for his wife's dinner.

She'd met Claire Wilson. While Claire was pretty, she paled in comparison to Jasmine in every aspect: personality, education, abilities, and family background. Jasmine was nobly educated, a Harvard graduate, and managed half of the Moore family's business. Claire, in contrast, came from a struggling family and had just started her own small business. Yet, Claire possessed something Jasmine desperately craved: a wonderful husband.

Jasmine envied Claire, something she'd never experienced before. A man like Charlie Wade deserved a woman like herself—a perfect match. She'd considered confessing her feelings but hesitated, fearing rejection. She decided to bide her time, hoping to win his affections gradually.

Chapter 414

Jacob and Claire Wilson returned home after a long day. Elaine Ma bounced in, happily announcing, "I won over 7,000 playing cards today!"

Jacob whistled. Claire frowned, disapproving of her mother's excessive gambling.

During dinner, Claire received a text. She asked Charlie Wade, "It's the weekend tomorrow. Any plans?"

"The usual—market, cooking, cleaning."

"Loreen booked a suite at a hot spring hotel and invited us. I'll say yes if you're free."

"Hot springs? And you want me to go?"

Claire nodded. "She booked a two-room suite. She said she hasn't had a chance to take us out yet."

Elaine Ma protested, "It's a girls' trip! He should stay home and do chores!"

"Mom, she invited him!" Claire retorted.

Elaine Ma worried about Charlie Wade potentially taking advantage of Claire.

Claire, exasperated, stated, "Mom, Charlie and I are a couple. We'll handle ourselves."

Elaine Ma snapped, "I'm your mother, it's my business!"

Claire countered, "This is none of your business! If you try to stop him, I'll move out!"

Elaine Ma relented, then tried a different tactic, offering Charlie Wade $2,000 to play cards with her instead.

Charlie Wade smiled and said, "Mom, I don't play cards. The hot springs trip sounds better."

Chapter 415

Charlie Wade didn't really want to go, mostly because he was uncomfortable around Loreen, who'd been openly confessing her feelings for him. However, Elaine Ma's interference angered him.

"You don't want me to go, huh? I'll go then!"

Elaine Ma was speechless.

Claire informed Charlie that Loreen booked rooms at the Champs Elys Health Spa Hotel.

"Remember to pack swim trunks," Claire said.

Charlie laughed. "Don't you need a swimsuit, dear?"

"Of course!"

Elaine Ma shrieked, "Claire! I don't want that bastard taking advantage of you! Wear a facekini!"

Claire was furious. "Mom, are you the devil? I'm only in my twenties! Why would I wear a facekini?"

Elaine Ma insisted, fearing Charlie Wade. Charlie Wade felt a surge of anger.

Claire, equally annoyed, finished dinner and went to her room with Charlie Wade to pack. Claire chose a modest swimsuit. Charlie packed simple underwear.

The next morning, Loreen called to say she was waiting downstairs.

This cleaned-up version improves grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure, making the narrative flow more smoothly. It also removes repetitive phrasing and inconsistencies. The excessive use of exclamation points has been reduced for better pacing. Some minor stylistic choices, such as replacing "yearn trees" with "evergreen trees," were made for clarity and natural language.
